Investopedia is a good resource. I have no immediate needs to save money for. This is a good first step. But realize that you do actually have a burning need for money, albiet with diminishing returns. Money buys you liberty. Most people will never get to the point where they no longer have to work for others, but the more you have saved, the stronger your negotiating position is for all finance-related opportunities in your life. Make sure your excess cash goes into a savings account with inter…

Where did she go? Did she have a reason? For how long? Dangerous territory. You have to find other plates.

This is true applied to sexual shame. Shame/embarassment in other ways can increase her attraction for you if it shows you don't tolerate certain behaviors.

Not that this deserves a serious reply... but the premise is not great. If you often find yourself in situations where it benefits you that people see you as having a poor reputation/being incompetent, in general you aren’t maximizing your potential.

I see downvotes on this, but what I would love to see is a reply. SoA_MC is right. Redpill has a “never invest or commit into illiquid assets” fallacy problem. Of course, if you aren’t invested, don’t act like you care. Just don’t invest in bad assets.

Every so often, you see something on one of these subs that makes reading it actually worthwhile. Thanks.

I don’t really understand comfort tests. How can you tell the difference between tests? If a girl gets emotional and says “you don’t order vegan food so we can share”, is this a comfort test? I treated it like a shit test and that seems to have worked fine.

Damn. I remember when I used to obsess over little stuff like this. What you did is fine, don't text unless it's for logistics or as a reply, when you're texting for logistics, you can toss in some other texts if you want.

Why do you think < age shouldn’t have a girlfriend? I can think of lots of smaller reasons that add up. What’s your take?

You can still approach and even flirt while you’re in a relationship as a man depending on the social context and type of relationship you have. Become a great conversationalist.

The median n-count of women is higher, and the mean n-count is equal, counting only straight sex.

You shouldn’t be taking the theoretically alpha action. Take the action that’s strong given the real situation.

I think your advice is golden. Many responder seem to have extreme outlooks on the matter, and yet no consensus can be met. In these cases, I like to search for a middle way as well.

I’ll try it on and see how it fits.

Hmm, it’s possible. I’ve thought about that myself. Why does she value her time so low as to spent it receiving low-value people’s attention? But that’s kind of a man’s way to think. She’s just going with the flow.

Do you have a recommendation? You mean that you think telling her that keeping in contact with these guys is not acceptable behavior is a good idea? In my experience, women will continue to push the boundary whether I set it or not, and I’ve only drawn attention to it by mentioning it. Have you had different experiences?

Would you prefer she “hangs out” with other alphas?

It’s hard to soft next when I already give her so little compared to what she gives me. So maybe I should be giving more, so that my leaving is more powerful. But giving more lowers my attractiveness. So I should raise attractiveness in other ways. But instead of raising my attractiveness for women, I’d rather just work on what I think is important. Which is attractive.

You’re saying that jealousy is programming, not an innate evolutionary feeling? I’m not sure - it feels more like an evolutionary thing than programming to me, because I think I’m pretty unplugged generally but still feel it just as strong or even stronger than before TRP.

Damn. For real giving no weight to their problems probably works to make them feel safest, and I don’t give a shit about their problems either truly. Or mine. Just working through them. So it’s a win-win.

You’ve got a mindset problem here. Strong people are strong not because people owe them things, but because they create or take things for themselves.

When she speaks, she tries to sound out words that she thinks you want to hear. One of my fwb just did this. One syllable at a time, some idea you told her in the past and now she’s “having” it herself.

The important thing here is that when you do sweet/lovey things, you do them from your own frame of giving with no expectation. That means not bringing it up later to get her to do something not doing it because you think that's what will attract her the most not doing it because you think you're expected to by her etc. non-sweet option: 'My b' is pretty non-commital and links you to her feeling. Remember, you don't need to attach yourself to any particular emotion...

At a job in a decent company, around others who are high value? Produce actual value. Social, strategic, being performant, etc. That's how you actually become high value.

While I agree there is a valuable concept here in general, this specific example doesn't hold up. A wolf still wants to know who the wolves and sheep are.

Not necessarily, in either direction. This also leaves out important things like reputation, social prowess.

Reduced motivation and "oneitis" are two sides of the same coin, I'm pretty sure. Thank you for this. Who are some of the literary figures which appear in your mental scenes?

I’m leaning this way as well. What I would have to do to maintain something like this is not worth my time, and would ultimately lower my self respect.

It doesn’t have to be. But reading the red pill (with grains of salt) helps to reduce the amount of overall cognitive dissonance one has about how the world operates => more accurate decision making => more impact.

What makes it fundamental? It seems like it’s just a different set of tradeoffs. I’d say technical confidence, not only calculus, but overall breadth of knowledge and strong intuition is more fundamental if the metric is being impactful in your life toward a goal. Having a mission external to women, pursuing that, and being okay with the occasional girl or girls becoming part of your life, or not, and accepting that, is a totally valid, authentic perspective a heterosexual male can have.
/r/askTRP24/06/18 01:30 PM

Remember that kids in high school think calculus is advanced math.
/r/TheRedPill24/06/18 03:06 AM
1

Just because you ignore calculus doesn't mean it goes away. It's just one of the many facets of life you can choose to ignore and suffer some amount of consequences, like lifting, dressing well, hair, for classic RP examples. In calculus' case, the weakness you gain is occasionally revealing your lack of knowledge to other guys without even realizing it when talking about technical matters, and having worse overall intuition on problem solving (not just rocket science).

The endgame I figure is most likely if I’m successful is that one of them ends up showing more interest and I take her back to get drinks or to my house while the other goes home or whatever.

You sound like you have some experience with this kind of thing. Any stories/detail about exploring a sexual connection between two girl friends?
/r/askTRP18/06/18 11:20 PM
1

Being the catalyst for a connection between them would be a pretty dope outcome if it resulted in a pair of wing-girls, nice idea. I’m not convinced they aren’t already lesbian, now that you mention it. They were wearing the same outfit or pretty similar if that’s an indicator.

Something like this recently happened to me for the first time. Is it ever real? ... she was talking about poetry and society and the future. She seemed inexperienced too. I’m shook.
