I could not imagine dating someone who is 18 years at old at 26. I remember being 23 at a freshman party and thinking of the people there as children and needing my protection, and that feeling has only gotten stronger with age. Men who date women so much younger than them are disgusting.

Well in that case I wish you all the best! Scary how men can switch up so quickly, there is really no preparing for that. I am very sorry you have to go through this!

Just because they were 18 and adults doesn’t mean that these women knew what they were getting into. Men seem to understand this in the context of military and how barbaric and cruel it is to enlist young men with the hope of a better future but can’t extend their humanity to encompass women and their plight.

Nah, there were a million red flags before, can almost guarantee he told here he was going to do this. She is deep in pick-me hell.

The baby isn’t even born yet but she has to start mothering already. I wish women realized they can leave at any point! He will still have to pay child support and she would likely be better off apart than together.

After you have gone through with the breakup and had the abortion, if that turns out to be the right thing for you to do, i highly suggest you take a break from dating. From your own comment you say you have ignored red flags and it’s important for your safety and wellbeing to contemplate on why you did that. Please also read the handbook, as it seems like you have not. For your safety, have a couple friends or even the police be present when he picks up his things/moves out (sounds like you are…

I’d say staying over or coming over no more than once a week. And this can’t replace a date. He would still need to get dinner or order delivery or plan some other activity that night and plan regular dates in between. Dating doesn’t end! Not after moving in together or even marrying. He should still be putting effort into your relationship , being groomed etc.

I would never show up to a friends place unannounced, but If I did I would bring snacks and offer to get delivery. Anything else is unacceptable unless in a complete emergency.

I bet he doesn’t even help with grocery bills and it’s likely her utility bill and grocery budget that could be halved without him there. Also telling that she was counting on a promotion but didn’t receive it. He is holding her back. He is emotionally manipulative and I think especially young women don’t fully understand how draining that is in your day to day life. She can stay in the apartment, lose the man and be better off than with him. Even more, a guy in his 20s who lives with roommates …

The guy is a joke, but yes this is one of the reasons to not do sex work. It is not respected at all in the wider community so you are setting yourself up for judgment for the rest of your life. Would not be surprised if there are men who habe folders full of ‘dirt’ on the women in their lives who they know use only fans.

I mean to be fair, I‘d rather have my debt paid off than a ring. 7500$ might not be a lot for a diamond ring, but it‘s a lot in the context. I wouldn‘t bother with a guy like that, because to only be making 55k in California means he‘s in a bad career and just not well off financially. It also sounds like he doesn’t have a college degree (or is significantly older than her, since he doesn’t mention his debt). They are mismatched and she should find someone more in line with her values. My guess …

This is so manipulative. Double texting is more than fine in my book, I do it all the time. Like I‘ll have a conversation thread going, haven‘t had time to answer yet and see something that would interest them so I send it to them. But I would never ask like that, people will answer in their own time, if I‘m not a priority to them I will know. I don‘t have to chase after anyone and neither should a HVM. But while not in a committed relationship you have no obligation to answer within a certain t…

Notice how he doesn’t actually talk about divorce? He knows he can‘t do better, which is why he locked her down straight out of college before she could start a career. Now it’s her fault? This was a calculated move on his part. His great career isn‘t as great as he would like us to believe and he wants to find a way to belittle her into staying.

Pizza places near me usually don‘t take reservations, so this could be a ploy on his part to get you to do takeaway at his. Also why did he not answer on the weekend? To me it seems like he had dates on the weekend that didn’t pan out the way he had hoped and only now decides to lock down plans with you. Block and move on. Also read the handbook.

I shared this sentiment with a friend of mine and she was SHOCKED! Why would I have standards that high for a simple hookup. The problem is a simple hookup doesn’t exist, at least not for women. So be safe!

Exactly! I don’t think I was able to quite articulate that childish behavior and play is normal and healthy for children, yet girls get criticized for it even as children, while men are allowed to be childish independent of age, even when their behavior has become almost pathological. I am so sorry your neighbors criticized you for having being a healthy child.

‘she gives me permission’ implies he’s the one that asked and badgered her to let him say racist stuff. Not her asking him, which would have been bad enough but someone knowledgeable about race issues would have felt uncomfortable and refused.

I feel like ghosting is always appropriate if the motivation is that the other person ignored your boundaries or hurt you in some way. This applies to friends or dates and I don’t think it matters how long you knew someone for. Red flag, immediate block and delete. If the person was nice but there was no direct reason or you can’t pinpoint it I do think it’s better to say something (i had fun but don’t think we should see each other anymore etc.). That way if they’re a creep you can still block …

Most of the men in these camps don’t actually fulfill the requirements for asylum seekers. All women do. But of course when talking about asylum seekers only woman are shown (despite making up only around 1/4 of refugees) to garner sympathy. For these women it’s literally out of the frying pan into the fire. The men have access to a whole new population who have been raised in relative security and who will feel bad reporting them because they don’t want to make their lives harder and it was jus…

Wouldn’t it actually make more sense for the woman to have as many partners as possible, maximizing chance of fertilization? I read that the reason for moaning was to attract as many mates as possible. Of course the male partner wants her to have no other partners, maximizing his own chance of reproduction. So woman’s and men’s goals are not actually aligned, and the man is in the losing position, as in he can’t be sure if the child is his. So biologically the man would have to be as attractive …

To be fair, female birth control would not be approved under todays guidelines either. But I feel like that means we should either get rid of it or find something better. Letting women suffer because men aren’t willing to use condoms (cheap, absolutely zero side effects, very effective when used properly) or get a vasectomy isn’t the answer, it’s just what’s been happening for millennia.

Depending on the circumstances and wether or not he is willing or able to live on his own. For example if he’s finishing a doctorate degree or comparable and is living with his parents or roommates to save money, I would have no issue with that. Or if he has just moved to a new city and lives with roommates to have some contacts in the city. My issues would arise from what happens when we are in a relationship. I was recently at a hen do and the topic of engagement and wedding rings came up. Most of the girls where literally falling over each other trying to prove how little they need in terms of a ring (Tungsten rings anybody?), that was if they hadn‘t outright rejected the notion of rings as something unnecessary. I told them I would like a stone surrounded by diamonds for my engagement ring and a memory ring for a wedding ring. They were so shocked I would ask for something like that and kept making…

A lot of men seem modern and progressive by expressing their wish to be a ‚homemaker‘ or ‚house-spouse‘. If you dig any further nine times out of ten they don‘t want to do most of the work that comes with that (cleaning/cooking/bills) and think most domestic duties should still be split 50/50. Not to mention even if they wanted to their standards are usually lower, so even if they were to do all the domestic duties you‘d get a PB&J sandwich for lunch and have to get used to not having clean laun…

My ex broke up with me and asked to stay friends because I was his best friends and he still wanted me in his life (🙄). I was pickme in every other way back then but I said no. My thoughts immediately went to what happens when one of us has a new partner and how awkward it would be. So I said no and stuck by it. If you go hiking you always have to follow the cardinal rule: Tell someone where you are going and when to expect to hear back from you. I love going hiking with my boyfriend or in a friend group and I am not scared that they would do something to me. I don‘t understand this woman at all, why would you marry someone if you you have highly mismatched capital, much less someone with this outlook. I don‘t think it‘s HV at all, it sounds very pickme to me. If she was high value she wouldn‘t marry someone who didn’t have their life in order. I think the prenup and his signing away ownership was her parents doing, not hers (as condition for the money/house).

This might be harsh, but I just think if you can‘t naturally conceive (including IVF) and don‘t want to adopt you simply can‘t have children. Because even with family members and friends there are still so many ways it can go wrong and paying for surrogacy seems barbaric. Not to mention it is so expensive, I‘ve heard of cases from poorer families that are paying of the surrogacy into the child’s teenage years. So you’re not even setting your child up to succeed later in life. It just comes down …

Thank god it‘s not common to split bills down the middle where I‘m from, if bills are split everyone tells the waiter what they had and pays for that part. I would be so furious if I was on a budget and ordered what I can afford only to subsidize someone else’s meal.

This makes me so uncomfortable! Skilled manipulators will bring it up again along with the waterworks in a group setting. ‘She said i hurt her doing this but I’ve had so much on my plate with my breakup/ectopic pregnancy/college/job loss. I would never hurt her blablabla.’ Now they are the victim and you look like an ass and doubt yourself because the group will be on their side. Really dangerous in family settings.

Honestly I think there is a huge alcohol problem that affects both men and women. But women at least do things to minimize damage (skincare, lots of water, healthy diet). But for men who drink a lot that will show up on their skin. For me personally any man who drinks a lot or with any kind of regularity is a deal breaker.

This is like the absolute bare minimum to be considered a functioning member of society and has basically no personal requirements (like must listen to this kind of music, like this genre of film, enjoy these weekend activites). A lot of porn is actually a crime against humanity. You cannot consent to torture, so how are these images so normalized? Where is the outcry from the UN and world leaders? Further for every bigger movie that uses animals someone has to be on set to make sure the animas weren’t hurt, yet women do not get the same protection? Every college experiment needs to be approved by the ethics committee, but porn producers can do and show whatever they want?

My ex literally broke up with me a month after I started therapy and had set the tiniest of new boundaries (he was away on a intership and I told him he needed to call me more than once every three weeks). Two days after I had set the first real boundary in our relationship he broke up with me! Just made me realize how weak he was. But his family is just as bad, if someone skips one meal you can ignore it, but one meal a day for what I’m assuming was a week? Especially since it’s likely it was dinner (would be the most expensive meal). The only way I can explain is it his family did ask if it was a money issue and he lied and said if wasn’t. Be happy you missed it, it’s about a horribly abusive man and his girlfriend too gaslit to even know if she is allowed to leave because of his disgustingly abusive behavior. You already know the rest. Absolutely vile, and nowhere near as funny as the nest guy because the woman was harmed.

This is great vetting! A HV who was interested would have set up a date in your city, especially after you making clear that is what you want. A LV or a guy who wasn’t interested might have tried badgering you or just told you he was no longer interested. This guy has anger issues, why would someone you haven’t even met bring up so much anger? Bullet dodged imo.

I would like an antique ring or stone, doesn‘t really matter what kind, could be sapphire, ruby, emerald or diamond. The main stone needs to be at least 2 carat, since I have relatively wide fingers and anything less looks tiny. I feel like if you meet once a week and talk about the same issues every week it‘s too much. Venting can‘t take up all the relationship. In this case I‘d say no more than once a month? Because you also need to give the other person room to vent and a relationship will only work if there are more happy moments than tense moments.

I don‘t like this trend at all, the point isn‘t to get down on mens level, we are better than that. So they aren‘t handsome anymore, so what? I‘m not trying to standard shame here, to each they own, but this really isn‘t what we should be focusing on, in my opinion. Men don’t want to accept that men are the worst thing to happen to women. Illness, loss and death are all universal human experiences and women are well equipped to deal with that. But half of the human race hating you for simply being a woman is so damaging and makes everything a million times harder and worse. All womens lives would be improved if men didn’t exist (or were like women) and even on a thread meant to give women room to express this sentiment men want to be coddled.

Devaluation has already begun, women are called stupid for pursuing higher education because you can make more money in the trades. Society has started no longer trusting doctors and biologists (vaccine-deniers). And science has become about feeling rather than fact. It’s all about where you can make more money(for men), and as long as men hold all the money they will make sure it continues going towards male pursuits.

I think it’s fine, as long as you pay well and clean up extreme messes yourself. If you’re out of the house even better. I think the problem comes from treating the people who clean for you as lesser than and becoming a slob the rest of the time. At the end of the day, they provide a service you don’t have the time for, it’s no different than picking up take away if you’ve had a long day at work or hiring a landscaping company.

This is why you shouldn’t build up guys. Any man you let into your life should meet your standards for grooming and clothes, there shouldn’t be any ‘work’ left to do. If you make the mistake of building him up, especially on your own dime, he will feel emboldened to look for someone else, because in his mind he has outgrown you and he now deserves better.

You should read the handbook and I think there is also a glossary to find FDS phrases.

I just did that last week with my best friend of 15 years. I didn‘t want to do it and kept putting it off and making excuses for her behavior, but I knew what I had to do. It wasn‘t actually that hard in the end, she had completely ignored every boundary I had given her. I have learned to love myself in the last couple years, and the problems in our friendship started when I started therapy. I would try to set small boundaries and she would bulldoze over them. It is almost impossible to change t…

When I first heard ‚don‘t kinkshame‘ it was in context with BDSM. I was really confused, because I thought (and still do) that you‘d need to be traumatized or mentally unwell to want to that kind of stuff to a person. Funny how previously being a victim of violence only ever excuses men from being violent towards others. I think it needs to be completely removed from our understanding of violence and kink. Most women are victims of violence but don‘t become violent themselves, only men use it as…

NVM Negative value man, actively hurting the women around them LVM low value man, brings nothing to the table HVM high value man, has a plan and the means to bring it to life, adds value to your life Of course not! What wealthy women would put herself through that!?

Ugh, it was better back when men would wait outside the delivery room to have the baby brought to them clean and ready. At least the men understood there wasn‘t anything they could do. Now, men have inserted themselves so far into the birthing process. Its fine, if the mother wants it, but if I was only allowed one person in the birthing suite with me I‘d choose my mom, someone who has been through it before.

I wouldn‘t answer any question they write to you personally. Just tell them, all question need to be asked in the public discord and someone will answer their question there. Don‘t ever write anything else to them, don‘t get upset, just keep copy-pasting the same message.

I am so with you on this. There was a documentary on youtube I think, where the surrogate mothers were interviewed. It‘s an extremely traumatic process to go through, the children are their children, they care for them for 9 months! Not to mention, these poor women in countries like India are often forced to do it by NVM, wo refuse to work and say it‘s easy money for the woman. It was interesting seeing known patterns play out. The men would convince the woman to perform surrogacy and then criti…

I just can‘t help but think that all these 18 year olds have been groomed from childhood to basically be sex dolls! The trauma doesn‘t start with only fans, it‘s just a logical conclusion. If the only positive attention you can get from men is by being sexually available, you‘re going to start being as sexually available as possible.

This is why you should only have children with HVM, and if if that‘s not possible a rich man won‘t do. Sure, he can pay to have everything done, but why put children on this earth if you aren‘t going to give them the love and attention they need? I have plenty of friends with rich parents and it doesn‘t really help as much as one would like.

I remember being shown pornography from the 70s in sex-ed and it was so awkward, but at the same time genuine? I didn‘t get any ‚ick‘ they looked like they enjoyed themselves, and it wasn’t just for one persons enjoyment. I have never seen modern pornography look even similar.

I am so sad that so many young women think the only thing they have to offer the world is their bodies. Women are so kind and intelligent and inventive, and to reduce ourselves to the least interesting thing about us is a tragedy and does not bode well for the future. I think things are going to get worse before they get better.

This! I have been showing a lot of these posts to my mom and she has slowly opened up to me. I love my dad, but he‘s a LVM and has been able to have a great career because my mom is such a devoted wife and mother. I used to be so mean to my mom until I realized she is permanently stressed and has been doing the work of two adults for years! It has helped motivate me to to better at uni, I want her to feel like she can leave my dad without worrying about pension and money, since I feel that is th…

Finding this sub has literally been one of the best things to happen to me. I finally feel understood and have improved the quality of my life so much. It is so important to hear that you are allowed to live life on your own terms.

Also I still think it‘s easier for a man to maintain a healthy weight and muscle mass than it is for any woman. Just like it‘s easier for a man to get promoted or a well paying job to begin with. We need to have higher standards, we‘re matching commitment and hard work, not end result.

A friend of mine used to teach sex-ed at schools, and I met some colleagues of her who taught at university (and where paid) to teach students how to have safe anal sex, ease into bondage and other extremely dangerous sex acts, implying not being interested in these ‚kinks‘ made you not only a prude and boring, but also not in touch with your own sexuality. Kids as young as 13 where asking my friend and her colleagues on how to perform anal sex. No one can make me believe that this is part of no…
