Yes someone setting you up can be a pretty good referral

Controversial again, but as a 28M not completely opposed to this idea I would in some ways need someone with more passion and every bit as much drive as someone going into the workplace. Obviously if it is something that is incredibly important to her and she shows that then it would be more important. For me I’d be more inclined if she wanted lots of kids, as this would make it make more sense why she’s staying home, but we’d also need to have serious conversations about financial expectations …

Sounds like they were made for each other

Sounds like yall needed this conversation a long time ago, but you’re afraid of losing him and just hoping he’ll either change or just magically fill all the boxes you’d pre checked for him and he’s unaware of. I’d say in modern society the idea that you want to be a SAHM isn’t the default and definitely needs to be addressed early on as it is more than a reasonable dealbreaker for some

That’s fucked

Sounds like you’re really insecure about your height and have a hard time setting healthy boundaries with her. It sounds like she likes the attention and validation from others You’re obviously not happy with your current arrangement and I don’t believe you will be unless you set more firm expectations and boundaries for yourself (she can do whatever she wants just not also be with you) or leave… sounds like there are a bit of trust issues. It’s so much better when you have a partner you trust. …

I’ve always found this such a dumb argument. As if I wasn’t just attracted to breasts. I’m sorry my attraction makes you uncomfortable, but as long as I’m respectful and am not a complete r*pey scumbag I don’t see what the issue is Neither do the women I’m with unless they’ve been shamed for being sexual. That’s the real societal pressure I see. Shame for being too sexual. Shame for not being sexual enough

I would do some serious self reflection if I had to beg for sex… I think I’d pay before I did that

Hey no don’t hate on yourself. This was a really traumatic experience for you and I’m sure it was the last thing on your mind as you were writing this out. Stop beating yourself 😅

One small recommendation. This is extremely hard to read without more paragraph breaks

As a male lurker, that is exactly how I feel without some reciprocity

I’m not man, you’re the one who wrote me an essay😂

Sure, I can buy that, but they also downplay significantly the role of emotional and sexual attraction

Oof I can be both stand-off and nice… do those counteract or make it worse ???! Inquiring minds need to know 🤣🤣🤣

The problem with the whole negotiating attraction thing this that women have sold us this narrative for years that it is negotiable, that they do find those gestures attractive, and that they’re not shallow but care more about personality. I think this is accurate to a degree that they are MORE they way then men, but it’s BS a lot of the time

Yeah, as a man’s we definitely get attached too. This is compounded when women don’t reciprocate a desire for commitment same as if roles are reversed
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 07:50 AM

This is one of the most cynical and heart wrenching things I’ve read in awhile…

Bottom line is not every man cares that you’re in a committed relationship
/r/RedPillWomen13/11/23 07:49 PM

I really thought so too 🤣

On a side note, I fully enjoy the fact they referred to it as BS for the rest of the article 😅

I 100% agree that trying to convert men to be more like women and as proposed solution is preposterous

While I’m inclined to agree on certain levels the rhetorical tools feel like gaslighting
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 03:14 AM

Right??? The fact these questions are even asked. They’re so… infantilizing… it’s one thing if your partner asks what you’d like them to wear and you decide to cater them…. But completely dress them?

I agree generally with this… there are some good ones

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
