There are people who think that traveling is a personality lol. That’s why they post this crap.

Right? Also, they could’ve gone to a plethora of other countries in the world. How was Afghanistan the ONLY place where she could stay for a few months without a visa? I know people who’ve been living in Mexico for months now during the pandemic. No visa required. She could’ve even gone to 2-3 cheap places. Maybe spend a few months in India, a few in Bali, etc. She could’ve also just overstayed her visa in Belgium. It’s safer than Afghanistan. And like you said, they could’ve just gotten married…

This is why I never date “projects” anymore. In my younger years I used to be very open to dating “guys who had potential” even if they were doing absolutely nothing with their lives. No more. Even when they’re fat and broke, they usually think they’re the shit. Imagine when they actually get an accomplishment or two under their belt lol. Fuck that. I realized that I have a really good life. I’m successful and I’m happy. I’m surrounded by loving friends and family (though I wish I had more single friends sometimes). I’d only get into a relationship again if the person somehow enhanced my life (and I enhanced theirs). I’m so sick of vampires.

The romance had been very short-lived. He happened to be in town a year later and he joined our mutual friends and I at the beach. He started hitting on me. I called him out because I knew he had a girlfriend now. So my pickme friend starts taking his side and acting as though it’s totally normal and cool behavio…

Omg yes! He idolized billionaires. And what did he do with his life you may ask? He tried to build some lame app with his friend. They didn’t have any skills so they outsourced it to India. Then he quit his job and relied on me to support him financially. I paid for everything all the time. He had some dream of the app blowing up and getting bought out, which was silly because there was nothing proprietary about it and he only owned like 5% of it anyway. In short, he was a total bum who relied o…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
