The marriage we really wantYes but they wait before living together to maximize your payments | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/25 01:30 PM
Well, it's official, im singleWas in the same boat as you as fellow dutchie. At some point it became loveless and while i could have kept going for years living the comfortable life (golden cage) it felt i had to take action. You should feel relieved and start finding yourself again; explore and travel, do hobby's, work on your career and feel free | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/10/25 08:55 AM
Any dads here with EVERY WEEKEND custody? How does it work out long term for you?I started with every weekend but it wasn't manageable as like you said you also want to have some weekends off and/or plan things. Also when planning any weekend trips this becomes nearly impossible. Then I changed to every other weekend but longer; so Thursday till Monday morning. Which is more or less the same amount of time. This works well for both as we both have 1 weekend off every other week. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/04/25 06:58 AM
Super depressed about moneyIt still baffles me how laws can be so in favor of the women, even in the end situation that then the man is worse off than the ex wife is better of financially. End state should be equal for both | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/03/25 07:44 AM
New partner not liking my kidIm grateful for the women's perspective. So in this case it is welcomed. I can imagine if it were to be swamped by women here it would be different but that's not the case at all | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 07:38 PM
New partner not liking my kidYeah saying 50% of the weekends are spoiled and she feels trapped are first signs. Huge red flag | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 07:31 PM
New partner not liking my kidYeah good point. My ex is also constantly texting still about everything.. "can you send a picture", "what are you doing", "oh do you give him these cookies, that's too much sugar" etc etc. Luckily not physically coming in, but understand your frustration | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 06:30 PM
New partner not liking my kidHmm yes that feeling of having a "miserable" weekend, already days ahead of the actual weekend when he's there. Very recognizable | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 05:57 PM
New partner not liking my kidThanks, spot on for sure. I wouldn't want that to happen. Even if we were to have our own child one day my first son will always be there she has to accept it | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 08:29 AM
New partner not liking my kidThanks I hear you with the gradual change. That's why I'm shocked that every weekend I have the kid some things are getting worse. She gets more and more annoyed and starts to distance completely. Red flag for sure | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 05:25 AM
New partner not liking my kidThanks man, I agree with 50/50 it's even more adjustment needed from both sides than just having 2 weekends a month. Jealousy is a bitch it shouldn't be a competition. I don't know how some women can be selfish | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 05:24 AM
New partner not liking my kidThanks for the advice. Indeed I think her desire for a kid in the future should be completely separate feelings and it's not a competition with my kid. She can raise her own whatever she wants to dress whatever it's her choice. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 05:21 AM
New partner not liking my kidAgree, I'm 34 so assuming there are women in that age group that do accept the situation or have similar experience with the package deal I am. It's just unfortunate how someone can change over a year's time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 05:17 AM
New partner not liking my kidFor sure, I guess it could be jealousy. Not getting 100% attention all the time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/03/25 05:15 AM
| -1 | New partner not liking my kidAgree. It feels like 1 week and weekend is amazing and the other week she already complains about the upcoming weekend. Can't deal with this rollercoaster | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/25 09:33 PM |
Comparison is the thief of Joy .Same there were always sex partners that were more experimental than others. It is however impossible for every girl to meet those expectations always. I guess some partners are amazing in the bedroom and others are decent in the bedroom but amazing in other areas. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/25 08:57 PM
Has anyone been on the r/Divorce subreddit? I feel like it’s run by women and is 90% posts from women talking about how much they hate being married and want a divorce.Fully agree and then complain about how all men cheat | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/03/25 08:16 PM
Survey: how much custody % do you have as the father?Same here | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/02/25 03:13 PM
