Was this comment directed at me…?

I think they were talking about taking on the worldview that women are inferior when they meant "becoming an incel".

I think you may be experiencing the "social media bubble" effect. You know... that could be the case. I barely engage in social media, and I was looking at some pretty misandrist content as of late, willingly. However, it does say something about the current state of mainstream politics if a site as big as reddit banned /r/incels, and keeps the /r/FemaleDatingStrategy up. They are both sexist, but only one of them is banned. I can't rationalize it in any other way than being against men to be sa…

Look I'm just offering some perspective to your statement that "feminism is the modern culture". How can this be so if fewer than 1 in 5 young women [...]call themselves a feminist The same way we see entire decades and even centuries are seen in simple traits. Say, Renaissance is seen as the age of rationality. Nineteenth century as the time of industrial revolution. Even historically recent sixties are as the time of sexual revolution(or at least its beginning). The more recent the time, the m…

...it seems to me that feminism has a massive image problem among both men and women. I know that, but my - admittedly, anecdotal - experience deems this a minor factor. I've seen countless odd looks at the sound of words "I'm against feminism." This article (2019) mentions polling that fewer than 1 in 5 young women in the UK and US would call themselves a feminist. That same article says the number of people who identify as feminist has increased by 7% in UK in five years. What's your point? I …

It's my understanding that most women today do not identify as feminists. How come I've practically never seen a woman that would say she's not a feminist in real life? And if they did, they were seen as an outcast, or were accused of serving men. I don't even live in a completely westernized country. the majority of mothers and women acting the way you cite [...] are probably not feminists, but have inherited those behaviours from the culture at large Then I say: feminism is the modern western …

You could try it, but what if the price you're controlled into selling it for is not enough to keep the production going? No one gets smart phones. The majority of people would be furious before even considering that.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates10/06/20 05:20 PM

Don't you think companies would rise the price of products or throttle their production? Imagine you're a company producing smart phones - now you have to pay the minimum wage for your workers. That's probably an increase from <$1/h to >$5/h. That increases cost of production. You either employ less workers, or you cut the amount you produce. I know this is more ethical(obviously, I believe this is the way it should be in the fist place), but a society living in the information age is simply not…

bringing back blue collar jobs that were outsourced away That's too expensive. Imagine you embargo everything that's been outsourced to China - you end up with a problem where most products become at least twice as expensive. No society can be prepared for that kind of shock.

Not gonna happen, dude. Not a single country wants their access to new taxpayers throttled so easily.

Ain't that the the truth. Everyone ends up saying "thanks for coming to my Ted Talk" when they post a longer comment. Good times.

In the second paragraph when you mentioned that one feminist got de-platformed, it reminded me of one comment I once saw. It's emotional, and almost incel-y, but it gives nice examples, and it's right at its core when it comes to criticism of "true feminists".

Sorry, I used the wrong "dishonor" but I simply meant "a bad thing". I had very vague idea of what you said, so thank you for clarifying. This is a good comment.

I mean, every woman is a daughter of someone, don't you think...? Besides, it's China - they could censor those stats.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/04/20 07:23 AM

Isn't it a dishonor to have a daughter in China? I wouldn't trust statistics coming from that country.

Well... I don't think it's as simple as: woman gets that kind of article every time. You usually see the bias on forums or when you ask opinions from people who don't know the context. Actual articles sometimes get flak if they don't have good enough grounds to show the perpetrator in a good light. Funny enough, some women find criminals attractive, like Charles Manson. It's all really mixed, there are very many kinds of people in this world. The effect probably applies in most situations, thoug…

Also, if mothers are caregivers of these men, why aren't they held responsible or at least subject to suspicion? "Women are wonderful" effect, perhaps?

if girls were only allowed one boyfriend No offense, but that sounds like something I would hear from someone who's an "incel"(don't normally use this word).

Now I'm having a bit of a hard time differentiating between the terms you presented. English isn't my native language. In any case, "idiot" seems like a very broad term that doesn't have any objective meaning in of itself anymore. It's just an insult now. There's a difference between IQ and intelligence. How do you differentiate IQ and intelligence? Legit question. I thought IQ is a measurement of intelligence(or at least as close as you can get to having one). If an intelligent person is not ri…

Like imagine for a second that certain personality traits tend to come along with a high IQ. But do they? I can see where you're going, but not being an ass seems like a personality trait irrelevant to one's intelligence to me. I've seen people full of themselves on both the ends of "intelligence scale," if I may put it that way. As you pointed out in your own post - both the village idiot and village savant seem hold a similar social standing. All in all, I appreciate your contribution to discu…

incels might be high IQ technical types that won't get put on the battlefield due to garbage physiques. They'd be trained, and then they would stop having garbage physiques. Besides, there's not that much science I've seen that proves incels have higher IQ.

Well, then maybe that sub is wrong? So far, I have seen some scientific evidence here that people prefer partners from their own race/ethnicity(with very few exceptions) and no scientific evidence that white women prefer black men over white men. I'm not saying I can't be wrong, though.

At my job where most women are 35 and older... I'm a superstar. Of course you are. [NSFW OP, but SFW comments]That's because women prefer men their own age, while men often prefer young women no matter what. If you go for women your own age and you are older than 40, you can be almost sure that it's because she hit the wall and is desperate after some douchebag left her, and now you take care of a hag who went for the cool-looking or rich dude, rather than someone who's not a fucking moron.

Yeah, but Mr. Badboy still probably has higher chances to see another light of day, since Mr. Niceguy won't be as willing to use any means possible to survive(like using the other guy as bait). That's why Mr. Badboy always has a higher chance to mate - from evolutionary standpoint, it's attractive.

Oh... Well, I don't think I'm above average, so I guess my options are probably limited 😄 I think that some of the things that hold me back are slight emotional problems(I repress a lot of emotions, and it explodes, but I taught myself to listen to myself), the fact I don't have a lot of perspectives for a good job in the future, and that I don't think I'm really smart. Also, I live in a small town in Eastern Europe, fifteen thousand people.
