I’ve seen a lot of feminists claim that they do more good for men than MRAs but anytime anything that has to do with men is brought up in a feminist sub it’s downvoted and labeled a distraction. They don’t give a fuck about men

From what I know, doctors resist these kind of procedures so heavily because of how common it is for people to experience major regret about them after the fact and then going to the doctor and bitching about it or even suing.

Stop defending a piece of shit just because there isn’t video evidence of him being violent. The entire case points towards his violent past and nobody on either side debated it.

Yeah I don’t understand using anger as an example here. Better examples would be expressing things like confidence, joy at accomplishments, etc. Such expressions are often called toxic masculinity these days. I got into a discussion in a feminist forum about peakbagging (which is the practice of targeting a list of mountain peaks), and they all were claiming that peakbagging is toxic masculinity because it makes people who aren’t athletic feel bad. Like literally men aren’t allowed to be their b…

I can see it being an issue if your polyamory arises after the child is old enough to question it. And if you don’t communicate properly with the child. But your experience with polyamory isn’t the rule.

That’s just not true at all. Also, fuck off with using retarded in that way. Idk why the fuck you’re being upvoted.

As long as the parents communicate well with each other and the child, open marriages can be both healthy and successful. You’re projecting insecurities, which makes sense because those marriages are pretty rare, but don’t say they’re all bad for the kids. It doesn’t matter what kind of marriage you have, if it’s healthy it will benefit the child and if it’s toxic it will hurt them. Simple.

The thing is, the metoo movement has been cancelling people for months (or years?) and not just people who had recent allegations come out about them. I remember one of the very first people who made the news when the movement came out was Marilyn Manson. He fired his bassist for allegations about something that had happened years and years ago. And then a whole wave of accusations about past grievances hit the news and a load of people were cancelled. But the movement conveniently glossed over …

I’m a straight white man and if I even comment on something that has to do with racism, feminism, or any such hot topic, they straight up tell me I can’t comment because of what I am. Even if what I’m commenting on is racist or sexist as hell, or if it’s something positive that I’m agreeing with. I’m pro-woman, actively anti-racist, and pro LGBTQ rights, but I’ve been told my opinions are inherently invalid and wrong because I’m white, straight and male. I can’t have an opinion because of what I…

Paying for a kid you’re not allowed to see for 18 years is more straining than giving birth and raising a kid someone else is paying for. When both parents share the load of raising a kid, the offset is that they both get to share in the joys of having a mini me. That’s why women go through child labor and the strain of raising the kid and that’s why fathers spend 40 hours a week at a job and then spend all that money on diapers and shit - it’s all for the joy of having that kid. When you let th…

Why do these actions only have consequences for the man? The woman gets all the choice and the financial responsibility falls on the father and the state. It’s the logic “my body, my choice, your responsibility” that really gets me. Women want total autonomy when it comes to their bodily choices but want other people to share the responsibility. That’s bullshit.

How’s George Floyd for a statistic? If we didn’t have a video of what happened to him, he would have ended up as nothing more than a statistic. The initial police report said that he was a black man violently resisting arrest and that his death was a result of health complications possibly due to illegal drugs, right? That’s a statistic right there, and it was complete and utter bullshit.
/r/MensRights16/06/20 03:54 PM
-5

You’re really going to blindly trust the statistics coming out of police departments like the one in Minneapolis? Or police departments in the deep South? We have a major problem of systemic injustice against black men in this country and the ones responsible are also the ones giving us our statistics about how violent these men are. That’s a conflict of interest.

Yes but since it’s not a crime specifically and more often than not the false accuser isn’t taken to court over it, how are we supposed to gather statistics on false rape accusations? Feminists say that false accusations are so rare they shouldn’t be taken seriously, but since it’s almost never prosecuted I can’t really believe those statistics. Also, how many innocent men are convicted because the accuser fabricated evidence? Both the women I know who lied about being assaulted had their friend…

You’re 100% correct. First world feminism is a joke. Third world feminism not so much. Feminists like to act like their first world problems are of equal weight as their third world counterparts which is just insulting.

Statutory rape can impact a person's psyche for their entire life. It can warp their views on sexuality. It can alter how they see the opposite sex. It can ruin their trust in their romantic partners. And that's not everything. Fuck you for saying it's "much less impactful", as if it can't ruin lives. Honestly just... fuck you.

The fact that statutory rape isn't as bad as violent rape doesn't fucking make it ok you absolute twatwaffle. That's like saying, "Yes judge, I did murder that person for no reason. But I didn't torture and maim him so it's totally fine, right? No? Wow dude you're totally overreacting."

I'd be careful saying things like that. You're low key implying that single mothers raise more violent male children. While I do believe that having a strong and positive parental figure to follow can help children avoid gangs and violence, I firmly believe that women can inhabit that role for their children. Just like how men can be nurturing and loving. I'm gonna quote myself so you don't forget exactly what I'm trying to argue. Broken families obviously encourage delinquency. Thanks for shari…

You're drinking the cool aid my guy. At least the narrative I cling to is based in reality. What you believe is based on paranoia and fear, not evidence or reason. You have to try to see things from a perspective that isn't all whiteguyinabasement. Edited just to say that this sub should address only the issues raised by the lies of intersectionality as they relate to men. So you're wrong there.

Ok, first of all This is a men's right sub. Not a place for any of the things you mentioned. Second, the fact that media bias clouds the reality of some crimes doesn't discount the many very real hate crimes that occur. Yeah you're definitely right, I wasn't really being that serious. Was just commenting on how hard it is to go back to school after taking time off. as most of them are Please don't try to discount the existence and prevalence of real hate crimes. Black people do have to deal with racism and hate crimes, as do women. "Most of them" are not hoaxes. However, this isn't the right sub to discuss it, so don't bring that kind of statement here.

People attribute abuse of power almost solely to white people like it's a trait of our race. I mean I gotta admit white people have done some fucked up shit in the past, but if you look at any group that's had too much power over another group, you're going to see abuse. The problem arises when someone who has a lot of experience and is seeking something specific has sex with someone who has very little experience and is doing this for maybe the 10th time instead of the 500th time. The older person automatically holds too much power over the younger person and can easily push them to do something they'll regret later on. However, it's perfectly possible that (boy or girl) the younger person might fully enjoy the experience. Also, most older people who go after y…

There are plenty of asymmetries in the work force when you compare men and women and all we ever focus on is the wage gap. How come we never focus on other asymmetries? For instance, the majority of workplace injuries are suffered by men. Men do the vast majority of physical labor in any work environment even when they have female peers. I worked in retail for 7 years before finding a better career and have had multiple back strains due to heavy lifting. My female coworkers who got paid the same…

The media pretty much refuses to use the phrase "woman rapes child" and instead says things like "slept with" but when it's a man they always use the word rape. It's a double standard.

1 - rape apologists are not exclusively men. Many are women. 2 - rape is not exclusively a male trait and neither is sexual harassment. Therefore, the term toxic masculinity in relation to rape is sexist because it generalizes males in a way that makes masculinity intertwined with sexual harassment and rape. They're not, but feminism would love for you to think that.

Not many people know this but it's true. I've had to clean bathrooms before at a retail outlet in a mall and the women's bathroom is significantly more filthy than the men's. Like... It's not even close. Their bathroom is always filthy.

You seem desperate not to blame women for something that is their problem but that is something they are blaming us for. Are you scared? Us men have 0 responsibility to work on women's problems for them. In doing so, you're just implying that they are correct that it's men's fault. So you are part of the issue. Can you see that?
/r/MensRights15/03/20 08:00 PM

The sexist double standard here is coming from other women so how is it men's responsibility to change how women feel? And wouldn't you then call it mansplaining or sexist of men to try to change how a woman feels?

Not all feminists support the radical feminists. The feminist movement has been hijacked by the radicals. I would agree that most feminists are pretty awful, but not all. Also, I know some feminists that support the wrong organizations for the right reasons. They don't see our perspective. My gf actually started following men's rights pages after we started dating because she had literally never been introduced to the way men see things. She still calls herself a feminist, but she now sees both …

That's bullshit. There is a decently sized group of feminists I've met who hate the radical feminists as much as we do and actually care about men's rights. But you won't find them on the feminism page because they get downvoted to hell. There are actually a number of women I know who call themselves feminists who follow and enjoy this page. Don't make generalizing statements like that.

Like the person above me said, it implies the perpetrator is the one doing the penetrating. We need a definition that's broad enough to include instances of coerced sex by a female, which would definitely tip the scale.

At least you didn't take 9 days to correct yourself
/r/MensRights06/03/20 04:33 PM

Missing reports would definitely not tip the scale but don't you think that if authorities had a more sophisticated definition of rape we would see a more equal distribution of victims? Because as it stands, the definition of rape excludes male victims because it requires penetration, which is a very outdated definition.

He's perpetuating the stereotype that all men are violent. The language he uses is sexist. There is a difference between this kind of language and constructive discussions about issues. I would caution any acceptance of self-proclaimed incels. They are the most toxic facet in the men's rights movement and in my opinion the movement is much better off completely disowning them. You're right when you say that the MRAs bad rep is due to feminists exaggerating our faults and setting huge double standards, but we should do everything we can to secure the integrity of the group, and the incel niche sheds a REALLY bad light on the rest of us. We should just cut them out entirely.

I think that for the most part all humans try to find excuses for their failures. The more someone fails at life, the louder and more obnoxious they are when trying to find a scapegoat for their reality. This explains why the loudest feminists are also the lousiest humans. They've turned their scapegoating into a profession. But you'll notice that the majority of capable and competent women are the opposite of these loud mouthed feminists. In this case I'm pretty sure they discriminate based on sex because women bring in more revenue at clubs than men do (by attracting men who will pay for drinks), and make the clubs more appealing. The easy solution is for us all to become gay and stop giving a shit if women are at clubs or not /s For real though, stop spending crazy money on women in public and their grasp on our collective balls' will loosen.

These platforms are communities where we as users report content that we don't want to see, so this type of "cencorship" is not preventing these people from shouting their hate speech from their rooftops, it's just turning them around so they're yelling at a wall. Women always say that men should automatically be feminists but honestly why should we care about their problems when they laugh at our problems? They're blind to any type of hardship that men go through because they're mentally stuck on the idea that sexual assault and rape is the worst thing a human can go through. And since more women than men are sexually assaulted and raped, women must therefore be the victims of society. They completely ignore the fact that more men are murdered, get killed in war, etc. It's as if being raped or even sexually assaulted is worse than murder. Children stop behaving that way when good parents teach them that they aren't entitled to whatever they want and they have to share.
