My perspective is that even though we don’t agree, we still live in a society and it pays to know what’s popular and what society is engaging in even if one does not agree or engage in it themselves. This video is just another example of how it’s praised in our society these days to shit on men. Swift plays a man herself in this instance and becomes this complete self indulgent idiot. It’s enlightening to see that if this is getting so many likes then this is how women view men.

I think it’s guys who’ve found MGTOW after they’re stuck in a miserable relationship. For me I found it after my marriage ended, and could never go back to that kinda lifestyle.

Would love it if a mod chimed in, maybe they’re already talking about an alternative...

Gratitude, in my opinion, is probably the most important. The most unhappy people are those who focus on the shit they don’t have rather than be thankful for things they do have.

People will bring up getting remarried to me and my response is just 'nah i'm good'. But inside I truly know the contrast between pure freedom and being married. It's comical in shows and stand-up how pathetic the husband becomes, but living day in day out this life of walking on egg shells, working to MAYBE get sex, watching your hard earned money be wasted, giving up hobbies, etc... it's just brutal! Never have I felt so lonely as I did when I was married. Being on my own I feel so fulfilled.

It is so disrespectful for a wife to do that. Even blue pilled guys should not tolerate. No woman would be ok with a man telling her to sleep on the couch.

Happened to me about 3 years ago, split with a 2 year old. Luckily we had a really good relationship when deciding to get divorced so didn't have to fight for the 50/50. But, here I am 3 years later on my own, have an amazing relationship with my 5 year old, and could not be happier and more at peace with myself and the world. Keep it up, and good luck out there!

Jesus. That is depressing. I'm amazed how strong men could be but also how women can chip away until there's nothing left.

A little harsh, but true. It's tough for people to decide to make a decision that's going to change every single thing around them. It will get worse before it gets better, and the fear of the 'worse' is tough to get over when they don't know how good the 'better' part is. But, damn, for any of you unhappily married guys out there, the freedom is heavenly.

This poor bastard. This was my life before I escaped the plantation. The psychological stress from constant denial of sex is real, and it's seriously defeating to men. It'd be better for this guy to go broke and start over a free man than be in this marriage.
/r/MGTOW14/05/19 03:15 PM
14

And for every married guy I've come across saying he's getting laid regularly I've met 10 more who'd eventually open up and admit they never get laid and basically have to beg their wives. I've been there, it's miserable.
/r/MGTOW14/05/19 03:12 PM

Amazing response. The only answer really is to walk away. I've never been happier than being on my own.

There's gotta be some kind of scientific study why women are so bad with money. Like is it sociological? Are they typically shielded from finances growing up whereas boys are taught to do chores for allowance or something? Also, why are you both still together? What do you think you'd be doing if you were on your own?
/r/MGTOW05/05/19 06:06 AM

Yeah, exactly, what man does anyone know that wouldn't like their wife to be financially well off.

Yeah, if he's not going to date the girl, she's going to move on. But, if she's dating someone else she shouldn't be keeping OP warming up in the bullpen. But, girls will do that no matter what. That's where the NAWALT kicks in. Even the seemingly sweetest hearted girl will eventually give into their instincts of always wanting more, it'll never be enough for them.

Every married man has this issue. All my married friends talk about how they're always turned down when initiating sex. I dealt with it the last 2 years of my marriage before we split. Once the wife feels like she's got everything from the hubs, she no longer feels the need to put out.

Yes, 2 years ago after my wife and I divorced I got one. We always wanted 2 kids, had one kid then a couple years later she started seeing someone else. I love my son more than anything and my life revolves around the two of us now, which is a blast! I have no desire to have any other kids or to sacrifice any of my free time for a serious relationship. I think without my son I might not have gotten one, but since I have him I am perfectly happy not having any more kids.

It's a backward relationship. Men typically react how life is supposed to be - you behave well or do nice things you get rewarded. But in reality it isn't like this in a relationship with women, they don't reward good men for doing nice things they take advantage of it. They actually reward men who aren't like what they want cause they think they'll eventually win them over and conquer them with sex. It's frustrating to watch my married guy friends bend over backwards and do everything just in t…

I think what he might be saying is that with her body type, even the slightest increase in weight is exponentially noticeable. Whereas some girls can put on a little weight and hide it easily.

This is probably the best argument I've seen for AWALT. And it's so depressing for married guys out there. This girl is one happy hour with work friends away from cheating on her husband. She's doing her best, I'll give her that, but this poor bastard has to deal with pitty sex, and who knows how long that lasts.

I've worked in marketing for a while, there's mostly women in marketing departments. They're so outta touch, and follow whatever culture is popular. And right now it's anti-man culture.

This seems to be the logical reason. Not that she pulled him away as much as he really needed something to fill some time. But... The downfall will be that she not only takes his spare time but eats into the time he actually needs with his friends. There's gotta be a term for what women do to book out their guys calendar so he can't ever make plans on his own.

A few years back (my blue pill days) I went to a winery with a couple friends, ran into my two other friends wives on a girls date with about 7 of them girls. Before they realized I was there, they were all talking about past sex experiences with previous men. I couldn't believe it, it sounded so fucking disrespectful and a lot like OP's post. AWALT

That whole story line is gold! Jerry and George want to get married, Jerry backs out of the deal, then George feels trapped and hates what he's gotten into, it's all so funny! Kramer droppin red pills, I should have listened when I first saw this!

How long were you with that first girl before you realized?
/r/MGTOW18/02/19 09:25 PM

Yes, been in that exact spot. It is the worst feeling ever, and after getting out I realized how much it fucks with a man's head to not get sex from their wife. And every married man knows this once they're out of the honeymoon phase. Hard lesson to learn, but will never put myself in that situation again.
/r/MGTOW18/02/19 07:03 PM

This is too true, every one of my married friends say the exact same thing. I experienced it myself, for way too long. Husbands everywhere basically have to beg for sex and are just ok with it to save the family.

It's pretty amazing to me that EVERYONE has the same story when moving in with a woman. Although I find it hard to believe this girl I am with could be different, it's likely just the typical trap that men fall into. The only red flag I can see is that she's brought up her credit card debt, and it's taken me a while to finally get ahead financially after my divorce and am not willing to go down that route again. Then there's my guy friends who are married that don't necessarily say things change…

This was a great read and really hit home with me. I have a question for you as you seem to be ok with long term relationships. I'm mid-30's divorced with a 4 year old son, clean divorce on good terms. I've been dating a girl for about a year and a half, been up front about not wanting more, i have a vasectomy, she's been great and sex has not diminished. I feel at a cross roads about moving in - she wants to, and I haven't budged on it, but she still wants to be around and spend time with me an…

The other movie she's in too, 'This is 40', is really depressing but also should be a red pill to see what happens in relationships over time. The main part I remember is the guy asking for sex in such a pathetic way and she just goes 'ugghhhhhh'. Such a shitty relationship, but it's exactly what I see all my buddies relationships slowly turning into.

Yep! Used to have a couple of best buds who I never see now that I'm divorced. The wives control who they hang out with and invite over. Really sucks but seems to be the case with most. The guys helped me get over the breakup but once I'm not a 'couple' no more invites and they never get to hang out cause the wives make sure their schedules are full.

"Meanwhile, surprising newer science -- much of it done by female researchers, field scientists, and other experts -- is telling us what women want and need. In a radical upending of long-held stereotypes I think of as The Great Correction, they have discovered that when measured correctly, the female libido is as "strong" as the male. I've heard similar stories before and it's so messed up. My ex's mother did this exact thing including taking out credit cards in her name, then my ex starts to follow suit. I have this thought about work and it's viewed as a negative. Boss always asks what I want to do, or what my goals are, and I'm just thinking to myself that I make good money, my job comes easy to me, my goal is just to collect a paycheck and enjoy my life.

Haha, no, this one. Like, ok, this time for sure will work out... I’m so happy to have met Rob and fallen in love again — and I can’t imagine ever being unfaithful to him

Maybe they do, maybe they don't. But in the context of this sub, it's more of a reminder to guys out there considering marriage or MGTOW.

Work hard for about a decade - is there any more info out there about how to do this and be comfortable? I'm new to this sub, so interested, and excited to keep learning more about this lifestyle.

Oh and shocker, she cheated on me. I was just reading a post here about women texting guys as friends, and all the comments basically said that they are back up. Well that's exactly what the guy was. Didn't want to be the jealous guy, but her 'guy friend' ended up being the new boyfriend.

Divorced a little over a year ago and was just introduced to this subreddit, and damn it's all so true! I can see it being my new support system.
