Any woman who favors such a law would not give any man sex anyway, unless their intent was to accuse him

Never defined myself as masculine or feminine, just a human being. I don't like the masculine role forced on me anyway. It just means i pay for everything, risk all the rejection, lose custody cases and get blamed for everything. So i'm fine with real equality if women ever would want that, instead of fake equality, where they have everything

Look at it this way, men and women have always been equal. Women had the sexual power and men (in the past) had more opportunity to gain economic power. Now women still have sexual power and have the same if not more economical power. The most simple way to look at this is start from the idea we are all human beings, and we all should be seen that way as far as rights

I've explored the whole men's movement long ago. The only one i know of that put things in the clearest terms was Mel Feit. He's an old man now. Since then i have only seen any so called movement fragmented and politicized. The only help that is useful is tell young men to be themselves, don't let anyone define for them what a real man is and don't break the law or do anything foolish like these shooters, Tell them any relationship they will have with women will be a disadvantage to them. If the…

I can't go back to the plantation because i never considered it ever in my life. I don't need guidance i've been around long enough to know what works given this environment. Men will tire of women, and women won't like that, that's when things will change, or they never will. Trying to motivate men in some different way still drives their ego and thus makes them bait for women again

meh, the parts about how men are treated are true, but the overall message just suggests playing one role rather than another. I don't want to told what i need in order to be a real man. I just want the right to be whoever i am, without judgement from traditionalists or feminists.

It is getting bad. Even if you have money for rent today you must prove you make at least 3 or 4 times that rent each month before they even let you in. Expect more homeless

I want to live in a world that I go down in the titanic, while my wife and children live. That's your own choice, but don't suggest a world where me or other men's lives are less important because of our gender, please

I agree that mgtow is really the only thing that has a strategy, even though there's no plan to it. I just don't think the numbers will be big enough unless things get so bad that mgtow is the only choice left. If enough men stop playing their roles, like asking women out, always paying, stop marrying, stop giving women babies, and maybe just ignore them. For sexual needs they can use prostitutes, massage parlors, porn, sex dolls, or just old fashion self stimulation. There would be no choice bu…

Well it's a catch 22 if we are talking about how this is taken in by the media. It's not helpful in that way to try and define what a real man is
/r/MensRights14/01/18 05:32 PM
2

The problem is when you say "real men" it could cuts two ways. They could say to you be a "real man" and suck it up after all it's just a little ol woman. You create an image that can be used against you. Do we say to women "woman up"? or question what a real women is? No that would send an uproar in media claiming they are human being undefined
/r/MensRights14/01/18 04:36 PM

Using the term "real men" is part of the problem. It allows judging men including yourself by others to a standard or role we must be subject too

I haven't even heard MRA issues discussed in the media since Mel Feit did it on talk shows back in 70's and 80's. Now i just see it on the net, so i'm thinking it's never going to get anywhere. I'd give reasons why this is the case but i found it's rejected by too many men. I think there needs to be a lot of soul searching to what makes us subject to women and our insatiable need for them. And why we judge other men who try to step out of our assigned roles and fake images. Equality will come wh…

There are very few good woman comedians because their act is always based on being a woman. They are better playing comedy roles or skits Male comedians have always based their comedy on observations in general, objective things anyone can relate too If women one day are forced to deal with life without any support, or falling back on their sexual power then they'll be able to do real comedy
/r/MensRights28/12/17 07:15 AM

It's that damn equal rights thing that feminism from the early days kept pushing. Now they wish they could purge that idea out of existence. It's that hypocrisy that will force society to accept rights for men too. The women's movement never wanted equal rights they wanted extra privileges, but their own ideals (fake ideals) will make that impossible

Some high class prostitutes it would take a lifetime to make what one good "harassment" claim could get. Hardly seems fair to the hookers. It's all prostitution except one is a lot more work

oh is that how that works. Did you also wait for santy claus. Never have i seen that work like that, it's always disagreement

well it wasn't my best, but down votes should be for not agreeing. If it made no sense voting it down wouldn't make much sense either. Maybe it was because i mentioned the left, yeah maybe we shouldn't be so political, i'll try if others do too

did i say something so terrible? that men should not restrict themselves to roles so that only people like MM can speak up
/r/MensRights25/12/17 05:13 AM
-43

This is why i say any real equal rights talks or action will come from the left not the right. I'm not saying men have to move in the direction of a marilyn manson, just stop keeping themselves in roles that will never allow them to be free
/r/MensRights25/12/17 02:47 AM
1

There's no name whether neo liberal or anything else that will end hypocrisy. No system dreamed up in the minds of people can ever fit into real life, or what needs to take place in order to live together. I say men's rights will come from the left only because that particular hypocrisy would need to correct itself in order to maintain their own ideals. Thus equality for women must also mean equality for all. It could take a long time, but the right will never accept it
/r/MensRights20/12/17 03:39 AM
1

I could only tell you the right would never be open to liberation for men. Which would mean being able to leave their old roles if they wish with no shame or dishonor, and have all laws reflect that
/r/MensRights19/12/17 07:33 AM
1

I'd bet anything like that will come from the left not the right. The right is probably more hostile to MRA than anyone. They advocate for keeping men in a box, making them slaves and then pretend they should be head of the household, which in this environment is a joke. The most effective person who ever moved this issue into notice was Mel Feit who would have been considered on the left. Just think of it as a circle that has to go the long way around

Well at least poor men can finally feel like they have one advantage. It's unlikely they will have harassment charges filed on them since they have no money

Aside from the fact it doesn't matter what the number a record from Manhattan's special victims crime says as many as 41% were false and who knows how many are in the gray area " Published research has documented false rape and sexual-assault rates ranging from 8 percent to 41 percent. Savino notes that in his NYPD’s Manhattan Special Victim Squad, “our false report rate was in the double digits during all of my years. Sometimes, it was as high as 40 percent.” Turvey, Savino, and Mares make clea…

well said, women have freed themselves from any and all roles, yet they still retain for themselves the old roles if it suits them. In order for them to have it all like that men must be trapped forever in their roles for women who still want support, or fall back on it when needed. I have to say men often do this to themselves, and some will mock those men who try to buck this trap we are all in. Men need to give themselves the right to be full human beings, whether women like it or not. Only t…

There's many examples of this, like when the women's movement first started. If you held a door open for a woman it was seen as sexist, if you didn't it was also seen as wrong. All this is leading to nowhere good

If you think women get pissed at what you say to them now, just wait how pissed they are when you say nothing to them

I'll take further, all the way to equal rights. If two people have sex and a baby happens each person should be able to choose how it will affect their lives. If you can't force motherhood on a woman, or can't infringe on her right to be a parent then the same should hold true for a man. There are many options, both becoming parents, either one becoming a parent, or adoption

Although mgtow has the answer on how to deal with this toxic environment they seem to be stuck in a lot of these macho stereotypes. However they never claimed to be MRA's, as they don't think men's rights will ever be taken seriously. Given that, their way of disengagement would be the only answer

I always thought that was being born rich

I think the more we can lose this idea of what a man is suppose to be, the macho guy, the John Wayne image, the more these issues will be easier to express. No man wants to risk isolation, ridicule, and alienation. When women made their issues known it was that they didn't want the roles forced on them. They got themselves the right to behave anyway they wished, and that included the old way, which is getting a man to support them. A big part of this is men being their own worst enemy by continu…

I was first introduced to men's rights by a man named Mel Feit whose politics were liberal yet had a zeal for men's rights like no one else. For those old enough to remember he used to go on talk shows wearing a dress to make the point of all the double standards. He's run the National center for men since 1987 and no one can top him on debate, or anything about these issues. Google his name or National center for men to see any issue detailed in clear language

I never voted for a republican and won't start now, but if democrats continue down this stupid road of gender politics i can't vote for them either. If you're a man struggling financially, in need of medical care, disabled, voting republican is not in your interest. Anyway republicans are no friend to MRA's or the issues it involves

Women threaten it, or fail at it. Men usually just do it to everyone's surprise

They get paid for sex whether in a movie or not, in a number of ways. Women own sex, that's why they always were equal to men in the past. Now we see a power imbalance where all men will be a reflection of those male porn stars. Sexual power plus economic power is pretty much total power

If i had known what takei said i wouldn't have used this example to make my point. I just got here and need to monitor how balanced it is when people involve politics, thanks for the feedback

What we should be discussing is men's rights. Were the women after years just deciding now they didn't like what happened, but at the time maybe thought they could benefit in some way. Are any of the accounts even accurate even though some men were pressured to plead guilty in this toxic environment. Takei aside since i didn't know about his statements and the fact his case is different i find it frustrating that MRA forums are always drawn to politics. I hope that's not the case here because it…

Talk about blame, who promotes our lusty society, who buys all the makeup, dresses up to entice, the magazines? Who is porn industry mostly made up of, with every fetish you can imagine, yet it's always men who are the evil perverts. Will we ever at least share the blame
/r/MensRights30/11/17 07:25 AM

so any man who is accused who you don't agree with politically then fuck them? Maybe you should find one of the million political forums to spout all those tired lines

Be a good idea for men stop all these actions, which include asking them out, paying for dates, complimenting them, and marrying them. Then all these complaints would stop, or would they?
/r/MensRights30/11/17 04:17 AM

I'm not saying anyone is wrong by using the rules we are stuck with. The article suggests it's unfair to reject men for their appearance. That's seeing the world through a woman's eyes. A man can be the ugliest looking thing in the world but if he has money will get all the women he wants. This will be true no matter what class circle he travels in
/r/MensRights30/11/17 04:00 AM

will they ever blame themselves for anything?
/r/MensRights28/11/17 06:20 AM

The real problem isn't looks for men, it's being looked at as success objects. That's the thing no women will see as unfair. I'll be impressed when a feminist comes out and says the genders should enjoy each other sexually regardless of how much a man earns
/r/MensRights28/11/17 03:27 AM
2

I agree, i hate the term manup. If women are sex objects then men are success objects, but it goes further than that, meaning any man is looked down on for showing any human emotions. Men are exploited in movies and TV as overly macho and an impossible standard to live up too
/r/MensRights28/11/17 03:14 AM
1

Exactly, that was one of my options, but that doesn't mean the games stop. When we were kids we use play heads like asking each other would you blow a guy for a million dollars, some said no to save embarrassment others look at it more logical
/r/MensRights26/11/17 11:03 PM
1

I don't think there's any such thing as sexual harassment. We all know the world we live in and the power games that go on. If you have power you use it to get what you want. The others either submit or decide not to play at all. If you submit there could be benefits, if you don't you either will be content with that decision, or find another way to survive. We now are seeing a third way, claiming the benefits of submitting is now "harassment". I'd imagine this could put a wedge between them and…

I mean no one wants to hear us talk. It's true, unless it's something that pleases women. Men are locked in a verbal box, and in some cases we don't allow each other out
/r/MensRights25/11/17 04:23 AM

Then why are all the dildos shaped like dicks? I mean really the parts are designed for a reason
/r/MensRights25/11/17 03:54 AM

I've been looking for a forum that just sticks to the issue of men not getting a fair shake. Shouldn't matter what their politics are. For instance the mgtow forums and others seem gleeful if men on the "left" (don't like labels) get accused and defend the other side, that makes no sense and makes the issue just another political forum, and the real issue a joke
/r/MensRights24/11/17 04:08 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
