All the feelings. I think you have to feel them all and go through them all. Been there, done that. Be true to yourself and go with your gut is the best advice I can give and all will be fine. I can completely relate to not being able to be yourself. That’s rough. That was a big part of my reason for my own divorce. Good luck to you.

Disagree as well. This line of thinking says you must stay unsatisfied/unhappy and just deal with it so that you're not alone later in life. What about all the years in between? People are allowed to choose happiness if that's what it is to them.

OP You do not need to explain yourself. Your question is valid. Ignore the shamers. Good luck.

Absolutely. Sex and attraction is a huge part of a relationship. Also, it’s hard to care for someone who doesn’t care about themselves. People change it’s just a fact. I think you just have to be true to yourself. Attraction can be lost due to many reasons. Some people let themselves go, some people are okay with just existing and not really living life, some people get older and become insensitive or overbearing, etc. You are allowed to say, “this no longer suit me.”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
