My husband is the same couldn't have a better person to raise our kids and worked as a team and its never been one sided and im can go out with friends , weekends away ect and he is the same. Unfortunately 2 put of 4 of my friends have had a terrible time and basically where single parents that done most it alone.

Yes it was met him only after chatting for 8 weeks then took a flight and got a hotel to meet him. Ive had a couple of dates that I always split the bill and it because I want to be equal. I was the same when I met my husband. I also still split dates even though we see our income as our money. He spends enough of me as is and is super romantic but im also romantic back. I also noticed in your comments he is in the process off moving that alone could contribute to finances and what he has availa…

So you can't set a romantic expectation either ??. I took a flight 4 hours a away from me to spend time with some and he paid for all meals , but when he came to me I paid for them although he did try too. I dont believe that men should pay especially if they have made an effort. If you had went to him and he expected you to pay then yeah that would be very selfish. As you said it was just a coffe not a big deal. My sister does this all the time and expects men to pay all the time

If he was driving two hours to see you and made the effort I honestly dont see the issue. If I drive down to my friends which is a couple of hours they pay for lunch and when they drive to me I pay for lunch.

Not all woman who end up absusive relationships are unstable and mental ill. I see a lot of women who are independent, and successful and very bubbly people. Some yes have mental health problems and so.

Yes , I certainly wouldnt judge anyone on their choice of lifestyle and do whats important for my family and for myself. Ive watched two of friends be with partners of 20 years and seprate one worked part time and the other didnt work at all and neither had savings and both ended up in situations where they struggled for instance both of them lost the cars as no way would they be able to afford them on their wage as childcare cost went on things for the kids even with child maintenance from thei…

For me its more about if separation happened and I had no money to help myself or my children or savings. I dont like the fact that retirement money would be provided soley by my husband and I havent contributed to it. I could not enjoy or want to spend money that I havent help build up. I also enjoy working for my mentality and enjoy purchasing things I have saved for. Its like one of my friends drives a car that she calls her car and put the cad in her names and doesnt let her husband drive wi…

Ues I have witness this with a friend who was in an abusive relationship for years , both time were a events and he was a shell of himself. Both time she thought she was out of site or a few times directly infront of us by tried to make it settle. She was thrown out of the events and the other times we pulled him aside to tell him needs to leave. If we made a scene it would have been worse for him when he got home. Its horriable and I honestly get so fed up with peopls not relations that a lot m…

The study is sage journals and it shows the questions on there.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 10:04 AM

No i think there a both sides of the coin and we have to remember that data that is conducted is only ever a sample of the population. We cant apply all data outcomes on everyone and that is wjen it comes to other research questions.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 10:03 AM

This study was conducted on 18 to 34 years old so a huge sample of men were not included so you cant state all men as only a small population smaple was used in this study.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 09:56 AM

Snap , I seen this in a guy i was at school with and me and 1 guy friend and girl friend noticed something was off about him and he went on to abuse kids too and his gf. I dont know if it was because we were brought up in home with violent dad and mum that we could see something was off. But the 3 of us stayed away if he was ever hanging out. The rest of them wee shocked when it come out and none of the rest of them came from those abusive homes and we alwasy wonder if its because we did and we …

They probably can though and dont bother , the same for woman
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:58 PM
10

Why so you cant answer me. Most men in relationship wouldn't put up with a bad woman just for sex. Men having one night stands wont see her again so more than likely wont know if she is a bad woman then fwb situation yes they more than likely would , so context is everything
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:54 PM
11

The whole point in the debate it to debate what statement you have made. Its not hard to clarify what you mean , so what context ??
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:46 PM
10

Thats not what im asking , im asking in what context as its wrong to say that some men are in abusive relationship are due to sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:44 PM
15

Im what context are you meaning ??. As some men are in relationship with bad woman ( abusive) and it normally doesnt have anything to do with sex and its mot their fault , just like it is mot woman fault either. If you mean hook ups and casual then thats on them.

Speak for yourself not every woman is like this and I like sex before im having. I initiate sex with my husband because I want sex and because I want him to feel desired too and well because we are in the mood too. I also certainly would not be having sex with him just to get chores done as he does that of his own back. I would actually feel horrible about myself if I essay doing that.

Homestly I kind of agree with op and I also agree with you. I have had this discussion with my friends and we all had different experiences. One of my friends didn't know how to make herself orgasm at all but definitely tryed and her partner tried too thwy had a lot of fun trying and it didnt matter what he done or what she done it didnt happen for a long time theu gave up trying and jiat focused on making each other feel good and it happend on its own. I know i agree it doesnt really matter the subject at all. I just accept that there are nasty people regardless of gender in the world. Im glad I have my friends groups who mean the world to me. I can talk to them about anything even if it is different from their opinions or there's is different from mine.

I know it certainly not celebrated as sometimes I think some woman are just as bad as some men. Me and hubby are very into kink and woman called me a sex worker and cheater because of my pic. I was only trying to help give her advice 🤦‍♀️.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 05:42 PM

This is the true answer 😊. I domt think matters if its woman's only sub , they can also make you feel unsafe talk about things.

Honestly wjen it comes to tje romance and submissive dynamics, ive seen very mixed opinions from men and woman on this one. I seen a post today in a friendship group about a woman who told her friends she was in to cnc kink and her friend told her she was wrong and need therapy as must have truma and it disgusting and invalidates woman who have raped and abused. Her boyfriend also got on board and told her she couldn't complain if she ever gets herself into that situation as she was asking for i…

This is agree with too. Its definitely not split down the middle as I dont think it can be but we both feel it shared in a way we dont have any issue or resentment. I dont think there is enough men who want to do this though and leave a lot or all to their partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 10:59 PM

Mt marriage is somewhat like this where both contribute rather one person doing it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 10:56 PM

I completely agree. I think it super unhealthy to expect someone loose their individuality and be their own person and want that type of relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 10:51 PM

Bdsm I would never have trusted anyone to do this with and its not that I didnt want to try these things I jist felt like I was to young to try certain kinks and didnt expect the guy to look up and learn about those kinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 04:13 PM
2

And ?? This is about you suggesting men to go there when you do not wamt to do these things yourself , you think it ok to send men to sex workers who many of them do not want to even do any of normal sex acts at all. Its there circumstance that put them in that position.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 09:45 AM
1

Great argument you have there , you disagree with it being legal it depends on what you think is legal as most of it not legal and yes there are some loopholes in the context of legalities. However its still very wrong of you to be ok with suggesting such things.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 09:42 AM

No its not , do you have experimce of talking or supporting these woman to get a better life for themselves ?? I do . Do you know a lot them are run aways from abusive homes from late teens and end up on the streets with no where to go end up on drugs to numb themselves. As woman I would never ever tell a man to use these services for sex because I dont like certain kink. Your comment is just wrong and suggest that as woman not liking sex act its ok to just pass them to fellow woman that in that…

You do know that alot of prostitutes are in sex work because they feel there is no other option in life. What makes you think that just because they do sex work that they wamt to do any of that either. They dont really choose to do any sex act with men or woman they so it for money andost do not enjoy at all. But you are ok to stand up for yourself as a woman and say I don't owe any man kinky sex but your happy to tell men to go to a sexwoker . That is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 09:28 AM

Umm no that is not how that conversation went , geezo , it was about our sexual interest, not a descriptive summary of my sexual acts with other men or him with other woman. We discussed what things were important to us and rather than get two years down the line and we are not compatible would have been horrible for both of us whether is was life goals or sexual compatibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:29 PM

Im not sure what you mean ??
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:17 PM

That depends be abd my husband date for about 8 months before that topic came up as I felt very serious about him and he felt the same too , so,we discussed important values , life goals and sexual compatibility. If it was the first thing he asked me then nope id be off.

Yes it should and takes so much communication to explore certain types of kink. I wouldn't even entertain anyone who wanted me to do it and didn't have any knowledge or want to communicate the limits.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 01:59 PM

Snap same in my marriage , it absolutely brought us to another level and it was me who wanted to do it. I certainly wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do with other than my husband.

I find kink sex more bonding in our relationship , when it comes to kink everyone is different and non one should be expected to do it.

I find the male body attractive and arousing and watch men and woman in porn. Lesbian porn I enjoy because of the way they touch each other and it normally the way I like to be touched. I also like more sensual and exotic couple men and woman because again its more in line with how I like to be touched. Having sex with my husband is one because I love him and two because i enjoy penetrative sex and he good at.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 11:49 AM

Unless you know that man was coddled as a child you have no way of knowing if their behaviour is due to that and making assumptions. Just like any human with or without disabilities bad behaviour is wrong regardless. Men who behave in this way dont care how they behave or are bothered by post like these. There are many traits and characteristics along with illness that can be used shield.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 06:29 PM

Regardless of a man having autism or not stalking and harassment should not be ignored for any reason or called a pass. You do also realise that somw autistic people really do not understand soical ques and how to behave in social environments. My daughter is autistic andshe doesnt do well in social environments a is very forward and blunt with her response as comes across as really rude. Nine of this changed for me i still do weekends away with both my woman and male best friend , granted it is not as often as being single as we all have family's. I stil go down and stay at my male friends house a a few times a year , some times my husband comes , somwtimes my other friend comes and other times i go myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/26 04:54 PM

Hopefully ive done a good job and he can see that women do care and his gf cares too. He has spoken to me about the feminist and his points of view on it. Im quite proud of him. He isnt a feminist he looks at things in a way that most people should.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 11:54 AM

He is tall but honestly this is something Ive spoken with him about shallow women and entitled women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 11:52 AM

No im sorry as mum with a boy I certainly would mot be teaching him that. I have taught him how to be a family man and how to respect women. He also has great role models in hus life.

Yeah my sister is super entitled and expects expensive restaurants and the man to put in all the effort. She is like this in general with everything in life and just wants a man with money and is still single. She has met many good men with stable jobs and a comfortable income that would allow nice holidays and they have their own house but she still expects them to put in all the work. One guy asked if her if she was ok to spilt the 3rd bill date and she was very offended and told him so. Turns…

Yeah some men do angry about even if they dont give it. I dont deny that. But not all men and the men I was, referring to was my friends partners do/did give foreplay
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 11:05 PM
2

I have to agree with many women dont care about pleasing men. My some of my freinds didnt think that their partners wanted to have foreplay too. Not just give them some bj play before going into sex. They also didnt get that their partners wanted them to change the position and do some of the work and get them in the mood too.

This is something that I dont agree as I feel that it goes both ways. Im not talkong anout the men that dont do a thing for their partners those men never change and why should a woman be the one doing all the nice gestures of love. I do see being in a female dominated family too. That they all want flowers , date nights planned , getaways planned ect and times i have asked them when they complain what little gestures do you plan or do and they dont it's hus job to do that. When I tell them that…

Its just think domestic violence is awful and I was brought up in this setting. I do agree that both men and women are affected by dv. Yes I know that it includes a list offence under dv. But comment was more to do with the comment or saying its rare
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 08:19 PM
3

No its not rare at all and but I do agree its not a majority. It still doesnt take away from the amount of women that so get abused.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 07:46 PM
3

My last assignment at uni was on domestic violence and for the uk the website we looked at ncdv reported 1 in 4 women are abuse thats not rare and frankly too high.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 05:17 PM

My husband come from a good home an no abuse yet he lack confidence and low self esteem even though you wouldn't know if you met him and that isn't because act confident. There is also men like my father who was absurd like you said and daily by an alcoholic father and by his grand father yet he repeated his story with my mother. Child neglect and abuse can shape some many people in so many ways.

Im sorry but being insecure about a male gyno and fear of male gyno being a predator are two different things. If it was a fear of her being hurt or abuse you wouldn't be feeling insecure. You would feel anxious and worry.

I would never ask someone this. Their finance situation is none of my business and even more so if we dont know each other. As woman and when I did date , I didnt expect fancy restaurants , its about getting know that person not about their income. I even paid half.

I have never heard a good man say she should have picked a good guy , not saying it doesnt happen but , if good men are saying then the reality is they are not that good and have issue with woman.

One of my friends came out long term relationship and when he was ready to mingle again he put on his dating profile casual only. OK he didnt have lots of women messaging him but he did end up meeting up with some woman 3 to 4 times a month. I think there are some me how upfront and some dont want to cause any issue with women or lead them ( this is how my friend thought. You are never going to get a straight answer as some men will play the field and pretend they are looking for a relationship …

Honestly you are correct both men and woman can have casual sex without wanting a relationship. Its not anything new and nothing wrong with two consenting adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 06:35 PM

There are always gling to be those types of men though some who back up men like this are often those types of men when it comes to objectifying woman but not all men. Also casual sex can lead to orgasm if both are willing to help each other out. Again though even if a woman does mot orgasm or the man it doesnt men it was bad sex too. Some men cant orgams due to being nervous and having preformace anxiety. No woman should not told to choose better I agree but some woman end up with men like this…

For me it does i cant have sex with someone i dont find attractive and attraction for me could be they may not be overly good lookong but generally a great person and that for me adds and attraction. For orgasming im up front about what I like and help them achieve it and somwtimes I used to just help myself due to enjoying sex and want to feel and have an orgasm with them. Attraction for me comes in many forms but I cant speak for other women or men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 12:21 AM

That is not true our bodies relase oxytocin without drugs as its a natural hormone and neurotransmitter produced by the hypothalalmus and released by the pituitary gland. It has have quite a few functions. Yes there is also a synthetic man made drug called oxytocin as well. It is released for breastfeeding and hepls the uterus contract during labour among other needs love and emotions.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 11:17 PM

Im not talking about those types of men as I agree that they are awful people and cant disagree with you there. Its also good to be suspicious of those types of people too. But its is different for everyone and we all hold our own experiences and are aloud to share those when it comes to these post.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 08:07 PM

Its not just about love though. People can have sex and feel love and people can have casual sex and not feel love. Early teens and early adulthood shows this with some of them engaging in casual sex for sex and others who only want sex with someone they love. The samw with adults who can enjoy casual sex without love and those who feel love through sex. Some also may not feel through the act but it brings them closer together. These are all different variables. You also cant kept telling people…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 08:02 PM

Yup its actually like a broken record at this point and telling peopld what they should and shouldn't feel or they are lying ect. Well all have our experience with sex, love and relationships. Its a big world out there with many people in it.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 04:35 PM

What a great response and very well written 👏 it is great to see someone who can actually have a conversation and look at what has been said and responded back with actual information on the different aspects of love, sex and relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 04:25 PM

I never said anything about you getting anything from these post did I
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:31 PM

??
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:26 PM

I agree it also super one sided. They constantly bring up sex and love and whatever else and link it all together. I think most people know that there are men and woman who will use them for sex and its all they want. We dont need to be told it in 110 different ways. Just stay away from those types.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:24 PM

And I was agreeing with him about all these post !
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:13 PM

Late teens and early adults including myself had casual sex and at that point for me personally it did not have anything to with love and I am woman. I enjoyed sex and learning this new thing that made me feel good and excitement. When I met my husband and fell I love sex brought so much more connections and loving feeling into sex and my husbamd is the same. You are aiming this a certain types of men but what age groups are you actually talking about. Even with late teens to early adulthood age…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 01:33 PM

Most of the post from this poster are like this. I agree with you. People have thier own thoughts and feeling on the subject of sex and thier own thoughts and feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 01:22 PM
6

Those types of men will not change and just wamt sex regardless of how they get it. Not all men are likes this. There is nothing to crack at all. We know know there are some men like that and they use different things to get sex. There are some who are genuine and want romance and enjoy romance. Some womna see straight through then and dont entertain it and some cant see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 03:51 PM

Yup and the things is for me i know there are men who just want casual hook up but pretend to want a Relationship and its horrible but this also gives men a bad rap too especially for the one looking for Relationships. The way things are put across men this and men that its just so thoughtless and ignorant. I know a few woman who dont want Relationship but want sex only and end up with men who would like a relationship. There are always going to be so many different variables to it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 08:09 PM

Thank you most i post see from some people are always so one sided and think they know how all of one gender thinks about sex and all of them especially men just want casual sex. I think there are lots of men that want a relationship and not just sex and i also think there are lots of woman who enjoy sex and just want casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 05:28 PM

Personality also is a play and what one person finds attractive the orher doesn't. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to looks and personality. The whole population cant cant all be the same. Another post bringing men down. Geezo

/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 09:28 PM

I know there definitely is so miserable people on here and the views some of them have about men is madness. Before I got reddit years I ago I didnt see how much hate men get and how they are all popped in the same bracket and how no one can be in healthy relationships as it must be fake or denial 😳
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/26 08:10 PM

Yup me and my husband have married 7 years together 21 and sex for us changed over the years he made feel some comfortable and able to open abkut my kinks and when we did we relalsied we had the same kinks and wanted to try ones we didnt know each other would like. Yes i agree and that were there are different types of men some say its just sex and yup some men dont find it meaningful at all and just want to get deed done. There are many different types of dynamics when it comes to sex too. Not everyone has a black and white view it. I just dislike when people try and speak on behalf of how all men or woman feel and bundle them all in the same category. I think your response have been great 😀

Absolutely love this response very well written and shows how it is always not so straight forward and there are many factors at play. Sex and relationships have many variables attach to them. I believe the same things as you do when looking at is as bigger picture. I think there are different types of men and how they are when it comes to sex with a woman and how they treat them and not all of them just use woman for sex.

I do believe some men feel love through sex and bonding . I also believe that some woman also use men for sex for thier own benefit. I dont think its fair to speak on behalf of all men or woman. Everyone has their own feelings with sex with their partners. I do agree a lot of men do use woman for sex though and yes dont care about them at all.

I have and its awful 😖 her life didnt go the way she wanted it and kids were part of what she wanted and she csn be very very judgmental and nasty about others who have a family and that's including her friends.

You do relasie that mot everyone loses things like money and homes in a divorce. Some married couple dont own their homes and other valuable items and separate with paying for a divorced which can be done in the UK for under 500 pounds as no assets needs to be processed. The biggest thing they lose is a family unit which is often more painfull than the monetary value for some.

Completely agree with you. I loved my bf before he became my husband and I seen him as a sexy , caring and loving man that I loved and cared for and wanted to have sex with. It has nothing to do with wife duties as op suggests.

A lot of mental do not report when a woman rapes and it happens a lot more than we think so those numbers although can show stats it does mot fully show and is presumed to be a lot higher.

Not all rapist rape due to self control they rape for many reason and some rapes as they hate woman and not for sexual gratification. Also rape for power and control.

None of the men friends i have seemed to have married due to this , they love their partners very much and I'm honestly not sure they would admit that if they did for sex.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
