She was asking you what you considered to be “political” - you could have answered with that but instead you were a douche

Also worth mentioning the app is called Taimi and advertises itself as an LGBTQ networking app, specifically, with language built for the community, making her seem all the more ridiculous with her line of questioning. and your "friend" all the more ridiculous for not saying "oh ya gay people deserve rights lol, I just don't like talking about politics but people having basic rights isn't really a political issue"

This sub has been trash since it's inception. Thinly veiled sexism.

How exactly do you fake rape someone?

It doesn't work because you're equating being told something with being raped. You can be told later that what was previously said wasn't true, the same cannot be said for being raped. That's where your analogy fails.

I agree with you, but like I said, by definition it isn't coercion.

Not to mention you're suggesting that being raped is a "foreseeable consequence" of being promiscuous? Jesus Christ man

Do you really not see the vast difference between what was in the original image and what you just suggested?

would result in serious harm By definition, this isn't coercion. She isn't saying "if you don't get a vasectomy I will have a child", she would be saying "because you didn't get a vasectomy like you said you would, I am now pregnant". See the difference? Again, this is taking everything this person said at face value, which we have no reason not to at this point. OP wasn't comfortable doing it, that's 100% fine and I wouldn't either. But you guys are jumping to a lot of conclusions without cause…

Well, like the previous person just said, there is a huge difference between the two. Not only in terms of surgical time, but also recovery time, side effects, and future complications.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
