The way I see it, which won't necessarily resonate in the sub, is that twitter is a private org and, thus, can do this at their will (like reserving the right to chose who I serve). I think these things are best solved by private persons making market decisions. Just take your social media business elsewhere (and/or protest and/or boycott and/or just not give a shit). I wish I could up vote this more than once. It's just terrible how overly sensitive people think the world needs to be turned into nerf-world to protect them from even hypothetical offense!! This is not a malerigths issue or a feminism issue. This is a simple-minded and churlish issue. It's about dealing with those who can't take an effing joke. sigh.
