| 18 | Survey: Why do you think so many women feel like they never get hit on/don't get enough male attention? It's only being hit on if the guy is attractive, otherwise it's being creeped on. Another factor is that a lot of women have an inflated view of their own attractiveness. Nearly 70% of Americans are overweight or obese and of those 70% more women are obese than men. There are a lot of women out there who just are not attractive enough to warrant attention. Keep in mind that most women would be a steady 6-7 (attractive) if they were in shape. Obesity reduces men's interest. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/08/15 10:18 PM |

I don't consider the elderly a parasite class nor do I consider most people receiving social security parasites (special exceptions apply for folk who go on SSD to avoid work or others who try to bilk the system). | 4 | Would a truly stateless society lead to polygamous patriarchy ?If the state disappeared people would just bond together and form a new state. Civilzed man requires a state. The state is the unbiased adjudicator of disagreements and the mechanism through which a people establish laws for peaceful coexistence and a mechanism for common defense. Civilized people have always out performed and ultimately conquered uncivilized people. | 5 | Would you rather live in a patriarchal system ?I think the best approach would be to limit the vote only to people who either are net tax payers or who serve in the military. Do thst and we will have a defacto patriarchy where women can still participate so long as they are net contribors or serve in national defense. This arrangement would also deprive a lot of men of the right to vote aswell. Why would I prefer this arrangement? | 1 | Business Insider publishes an infographic that shows the chance a particular race or sex will go to prison in their lifetime - Only race is discussed in the article when the men/women disparity is the elephant in the roomIf a man and a woman are starving, but a woman has a shelter open to her where she can come and eat, while the man doesn't - then the man has to steal. And there's your strawman. Stealing in order to eat is extremely rare and working is almost always a viable alternative. Lack of mens shelters isn't the reason for higher crime rates. A more likely explanation is that men are more able to commit crime and more predisposed to do so because we are physically stronger and naturally more aggressive. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 02:55 AM |

| 2 | Accusations of RapeThe answer to your question lies in the legal process. How does a person prove that a rape or sexual assault happened? The rape victim should immediately go to the authorities. He/she should not take a shower first, should not have a good cry first, should not wait even one minute. By going to the authorities at once they can gather evidence that a sex act occurred and who the act was with. This removes ambiguity later. Proving the sex act was rape can be more problematic. Presently a man can be required to oay alimony to his ex for, depending on the state, up to the rest of her life. | 1 | Question: What is /r/MensRights' stance on abortion? We both know abortions of children conceived through rape are a tiny fraction of all abortions. Your statement is a red herring argument but I will answer it anyway. The child is innocent and should not be put to death for the crime of its father. | /r/MensRights | 06/05/14 11:23 AM |
| 2 | Question: What is /r/MensRights' stance on abortion?Pro-life. You don't get to murder someone just because you were irresponsible or it inconveniences you. | /r/MensRights | 06/05/14 12:53 AM |
| 2 | Men shouldn't gain reproductive rights. Instead, they should lose reproductive duties.Have an up-vote then. I do agree the dichotomy between obligations for men and women are pretty ridiculous when measured against the rights of both men and women. | /r/MensRights | 04/05/14 10:34 PM |
| 1 | Men shouldn't gain reproductive rights. Instead, they should lose reproductive duties. You can't combat one evil with another. When a child is conceived the two parents who conceived it have an obligation to it. Abortion doesn't change this obligation it just ends the life of the person to whom the obligation is owed. | /r/MensRights | 04/05/14 10:21 PM |
| 3 | Men shouldn't gain reproductive rights. Instead, they should lose reproductive duties. And I see I get downvoted for advocating personal responsibility. Is it any wonder our country is going down the tubes? | /r/MensRights | 04/05/14 10:11 PM |
| 1 | Men shouldn't gain reproductive rights. Instead, they should lose reproductive duties.I'm for adoption as an alternative to abortion. That said, I think our adoption laws should be adjusted so that the responsibility of caring for a child is passed only to other people, not the state, who want to care for it and that the people putting the child up for adoption must care for the child until the adoptive parents assume the parental role. To put it more simply, when a parent puts a kid up for adoption the parent should be responsible for the child until it is adopted. Yeah, I know … | /r/MensRights | 04/05/14 10:11 PM |
| 1 | Men shouldn't gain reproductive rights. Instead, they should lose reproductive duties.Safe(r) sex is something both partners have to be involved in. A guy who doesn't want to be a father can insist on wearing condoms. Both the woman and the man make decisions that affect whether or not a child is conceived. Once conception occurs, they're both parents and neither should have the option of abandoning their obligation to care for the child either through abortion or just leaving. | /r/MensRights | 04/05/14 10:06 PM |
| -2 | Men shouldn't gain reproductive rights. Instead, they should lose reproductive duties. It takes two people to make a baby. By participating in sex you accept the consequences. One consequence of sex is a duty to the offspring produced. It's that simple. Abortion is murder. A woman may choose to murder her unborn child. Our laws are fucked up in that way. That our laws are fucked up does not absolve the man from his duty to support his child should it be born. | /r/MensRights | 04/05/14 04:54 PM |
| 17 | Saw this on my Facebook news feed, really ?Some people just hate men. That's all you need to know. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/14 06:47 PM |
| 1 | Best short analogy for "enthusiastic consent"I'll never understand what's so hard about consent. Consent is either by word or deed and without coercion. By word: "Want to have sex?" "Yes." Or one person saying "Let's fuck" and the other saying "Hell yes" or just taking clothes off. By deed: mutual foreplay and she climbs on top and guides you inside, you're sober, alert and don't protest. Or you're on top and she guides you inside. No words need be exchanged for this. Mutual voluntary action to achieve sex is mutual consent to sex. Of cour… | /r/MensRights | 27/04/14 02:29 PM |
| 4 | This just happened at work today, feel like venting to someone...Tyranny? Oh, right, that's when the government does it. When women do it it's called being feminists. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/14 01:22 AM |
| 1 | This just happened at work today, feel like venting to someone...That's basically the argument of everyone who isn't male, straight, white, and Christian about anyone else who is. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/14 01:21 AM |
| -23 | Another gay-man questioning the Men's Rights Movement, I ask, what should clinch it for me?Look men and women are defined by genitalia. A person with a set of boobs and a vagina is a woman and one with balls and a penis is a man. A person with a vagina who thinks she's a man or a person with a penis who thinks he's a woman is confused and should seek professional help. | /r/MensRights | 08/04/14 11:59 PM |
| -20 | Another gay-man questioning the Men's Rights Movement, I ask, what should clinch it for me?Please define "man" without a penis. | /r/MensRights | 08/04/14 11:36 PM |
