It's only being hit on if the guy is attractive, otherwise it's being creeped on. Another factor is that a lot of women have an inflated view of their own attractiveness. Nearly 70% of Americans are overweight or obese and of those 70% more women are obese than men. There are a lot of women out there who just are not attractive enough to warrant attention. He was arrested. He has not been convicted. Mandatory arrest laws are not mandatory convict laws. If you beat your spouse to a pulp that WILL be put into evidence and you will be convicted. As for this fellow, the statements made to the police by both him and his wife and the physical evidence of her punching him will be taken into account by the prosecutor and judge and he will probably be just fine. It is a travesty she was not charged with assault though.

I'm for adoption as an alternative to abortion. That said, I think our adoption laws should be adjusted so that the responsibility of caring for a child is passed only to other people, not the state, who want to care for it and that the people putting the child up for adoption must care for the child until the adoptive parents assume the parental role. Safe(r) sex is something both partners have to be involved in. A guy who doesn't want to be a father can insist on wearing condoms. Both the woman and the man make decisions that affect whether or not a child is conceived. Once conception occurs, they're both parents and neither should have the option of abandoning their obligation to care for the child either through abortion or just leaving.
