Don't know how to progress from text/fb game I'm very new to this, but wouldn't it be better to hang out with her and her friends in more of a group setting first, as opposed to the first time being one on one. I just feel like that puts a lot of pressure on both of us and is a date type scenario really quickly. It might just be some taboo in the High School scene but asking someone out when you hardly know them isn't something frequently done.
