1	Just some thoughts They may respond with the "guys are supposed to buy girls drinks", reply "I'm not your average guy, you're supposed to wow me" I think that's a little too far. I'd say the first line as a joke, but not seriously expect for them to buy me a drink. I would give them $5 and ask them to go to the bar and grab me a beer, however. 1	The Inner Game of Being Alpha I think stoicism plays well into being alpha. One problem I have had with being alpha (which I have been more or less a form of my whole life, just because of my natural personality) is the tendency for others to stray away from me because of the dominance I portray. I have a close circle of friends, but I find it common that many other males will be wary of me, mistrust me, or pass me off to go hang with another group that has less alpha, letting their beta show through more.
