Silence is one of the 'rapport breaks' that AFCAdam teaches. Sometimes it can be hilarious to see how far you can take it. Just keep smiling and nodding expectantly, like how a boss would at a job interview with the hopeful employee trying to keep talking. Good point! Now that I think about it I've fallen into naturally kino'in everyone I interact with, just in different ways. A pat on the back, high fives, shit like that is totally bro-friendly and makes things more comfortable.

I'm in the process of #2 right now, and it does work. You kind of approach it like pickup for wings. You have to do most of what you do with picking up a girl (except kino, lol) to make the # close not seem weird. That said it's a LOT easier. Basically just make it clear that you like going out to pickup chicks and if they think it's cool then say you will invite them along next time.
