Show me the definition of larceny in Virginia. Do you know what "elements of a crime" are? Here's the NY definition: http://ypdcrime.com/penal.law/article155.htm#p155.05 See how it lays out exactly what is needed to make out larceny? The Virginia statutes say larceny, but do not define it. They do, however, provide the punishment, which is the second link you provided. Insulting me gets you nowhere. We can have a civil conversation or not.

Virginia does not lay out the elements for several crimes, including, for example, larceny. The elements of the crime of larceny in Virginia are only found in common law.

I'm a criminal defense lawyer for 25 years. The laws vary from state to state. In NY, there is no stand your ground. In fact, you have a duty to retreat unless you are in your home or place of business. A guy punches you, you stab him, you're getting charged with attempted murder.

Actually, I didn't bother. I've been a criminal defense lawyer for 25 years. The law is not the way I want it to be, not the way my clients want it to be, but it is what it is. I guess the words of Nazi conspirators isn't enough. Nothing anyone can show you will change your mind, so I won't try. But I will say this: truth is not subjective.
