Be the entertainment hub within your social circle. Throw parties, organize trips and make it a point to know when and where things are going down. People will follow you if you are always the one who knows where to go to have a good time. This is good. It's hard to immediately make friends with everyone in the group so pick the leaders first, then just be an outgoing person with the others afterward.
