1	Why don't fathers tell sons not to get married? I was married 22 years, and i have a 8 yo son, and the ex got into drugs and went violent schizophrenic, I got full custody and everything in the divorce. But I WILL stay single the rest of my life...... but for my son, I will caution him. I love my son, but my life would have been a whole lot better if I never married. 1	How bad does my future look? You just described my life about a week ago. I won full legal and physical custody, I got the house , the cars, 401k, and she owes me $270 a month in CS. 22 years together, 8 yo son, married 13, and owned a house together for 13. She was child protective services employee, and I work in the aerospace industry. Over a 3 year period she got into drugs and alcohol, completely changed her mind for the worse.
