I think you had it right. She was probably some mix of tired, bored, and lazy, so she shittested you, and somewhere deep down decided she wanted sex instead of salad and eating alone. Alternatively, you were her back-up option.

Join the fraternity with the kind of guys you'd imagine in your "group." If it's too late, if you can't afford it, or if you are not invited, just join literally any other org, especially a social one. I hope you're serious about maintaining a group of friends, though, because that includes obligations, and it sounds like your current obligations may be overwhelming.

Would recommend working retail part-time or just doing some volunteering. You'll interact with new people, develop skills, grow your resume, and avoid being alone all the time. That's probably the best you can do given your timeline and situation. If you had more time, I would tell you to get really good at a team sport. Hopefully you get things right during college / your early career.

If you think there are other reasons, my guess would be that he appeared to have higher value than you did. Somewhere in this video, Julien covers buyer vs seller mentality. (Pretty self-evident -- you want to be the buyer.) Watch if bored, and with a grain of salt. Edit: It's at 40:48

He's older than you. Guys tend to overlook age, because we realize that age is NOT a proxy for experience, maturity, or prowess. Girls, however, don't. It's just sexy to them for literally no reason. Continues to baffle me. But that's the answer to your question. It's also possible that his frame was more genuine than yours. Can't really tell without being there. Make sure you have social finesse. This is something I've been working on. You don't want to seem fake, because it can invalidate your…

A true 10/10 Chad can simply post his picture on Tinder and get an absurd amount of matches. He doesn't even need game and he'll blow the fuck out of anyone else. No matter how many social circles you have, no matter how many successful approaches you make, no matter how many events you go to, you'll never be able to line up 100 dates/fucks over the course of an hour. And if he's a natural, as you said? Even better.

What were you hoping for when you made this post? There is no magical phrase you can say to make girls fall in love with you. If you're not muscular or attractive, looks should be your main concern. If you are, then the problem is your game and you really do need an occupation that makes you more interesting. You didn't give us a lot of information, but my guess would be that you're reasonably attractive but you have terrible game. You may or may not have a boring, generic personality that turns…

You need to love yourself unconditionally. This is something backed by psychology. You know yourself better than anyone else. It sounds weird but try treating yourself as a friend that you've always had, always forgiven, and always understood. Literally hug yourself, tightly, and hold it for awhile. It can honestly help if you're going through a hard time.

Pretty much this. Holding frame often is exactly the same thing as laughing at yourself. Like... Agree and Amplify is one of the most fundamental techniques of frame control and that's really all it is.

I agree mostly, and disagree slightly -- a caveat. It's super important to have some situational awareness, you're right. And that can't really be understated. But you also don't need everything to be perfect before flirting with a girl. There is no perfect world where you can completely eliminate the chance of being rejected. There's a point where you accept that you could, quite possibly, be shot down. A point where you aren't really sure if she likes you, but you bite the bullet and start esc…

I elaborated more in another comment. We accept our modern culture and seek to thrive in spite of it. MRAs refuse to accept the state of affairs and instead waste their time fighting it. Is there some overlap? Definitely. But that's where it stops. We see the unfairnesses, but MRA says "complain and protest" while TRP says "lift and win anyway." I guarantee you, you could message any mod asking if TRP has plans to organize a men's uprising, and they will tell you they have no interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/17 01:10 AM
2

Are these rhetorical questions? Those that actually take the advice are much better than both women and beta men. reddit girls hate TRP because it's easier to hate offensive words on a computer screen than a hot guy you have a crush on Power is always a factor in relationships, even if it's mutually ignored.

Ah I misunderstood, but I still disagree. I would argue that communism is among the most utopian, idealistic forms of governance. The notion that everyone can get along and have their fair share. Etc. With regard to social upheaval... GayLubeOil makes fun of MRAs all the time. Calling them pussies and whatnot. The mods have no interest in their movement. Does the red pill sympathize with MRA incels? Sure. Is there some overlap? Definitely. But that's where it stops. We see the unfairnesses, but …

I disagree for the most part Those bitter redpillers don't want to work at it so they want me to help pave their way, they don't want to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and so on. Disagree with most of this post Many women become doctors, engineers, researchers etc. Doesn't change a thing -- Medical school is hard. Physics is hard. Research you're not interested in... is unrewarding. And hard. Avoid the fraternities that are low on the status scale These also happen to be the chill, less time-consuming fraternities that often have nichey job hook-ups. See cute girls in class? Ah, you probably fall into the functional fitness camp. To play the devil's advocate, lifting is nice because it's easy to measure. Which hopefully teaches goal-setting. Certain lifts possibly boost natural testosterone as well. And you can time the "pump" from an upper body work out to come right before a party. Working hard and developing real strength and muscles is immensely gratifying. So lifting is all-around pretty good for beginners. But you're right. Anyone who falls into the "athletic …

Yep. I hope people in this thread have enough of a critical eye to consider that the purpose of a fraternity is to consolidate a brotherhood of like-minded individuals for mutual gain. Some fraternities have strayed off this path too much to be worth it. Some fraternities demand a lot of your time, resources, and dignity while giving little in return. If you want to be a teacher, for instance, you might be better off forming an educators' club where you can get together and teach mock lessons. N…

But most of this is just running from the stereotypes. OP I like where you're going with "owning it" so I want to contribute with my own thoughts. You're right, though, with the stereotypes. Beta Asians are nerdy, lanky, awkward, and smart. Alpha Asians are stylish, intelligent, talented, successful, manipulative businessmen/doctors. To some degree I think Asians should reconcile their identity with what they want to be and what an Alpha Asian looks like. A confident Asian stands out immediately…

They can say what they like. It doesn't change the fact that whores literally market the "girlfriend experience." The whore market follows a monopolistically competitive market structure and is subject to economic analysis like every other market. Whores are not special.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/16 04:41 PM

Basic economics: Availability of a close substitute increases the price-elasticity of demand. In terms of the SMP, this means that men will be more likely to leave girlfriends as shitty behavior increases (their price as a non-prostitute).

"Obsessed" is only a relative term. Obsessed according to whom exactly? The average? The fat, mediocre, complacent, and pathetic hump in the bell curve? The sheep that will never understand ambition or success? If that's what obsession is, then count me in.

Out of four people who read and replied to what he has been saying, you were the only one to actually understand his point. I upvoted you. Interesting that you defined what the middle ground is, without actually stating what behavior would be optimal. Is it perhaps possible that casual, light flirting can be the middle ground? Is it perhaps possible that a charming alpha could make a girl giggle and laugh with very little investment?

Sorry, I'm having a hard time boiling down the thesis of your argument. Please proofread OP. Not to be snarky, but that was difficult to read. To address the discussion, the term BP is often used synonymously with "beta" by redpillers. I can explain the logic, but it is messy. The thought process is that redpillers were, by default, bluepillers before they had unplugged. Redpillers were also beta before they had unplugged. Thus the two terms are, in practice, identical for many of us -- that is, "before I swallowed the Red Pill." Are the semantics flawed, technicall…

One part of AWALT refers to the inherent "wiring" that may or may not manifest itself in any given relationship. But we'll go with AWALT anyway. Red Pillers use AWALT when dealing with relationships and women: Don't be a moaning bitch. Don't be clingy. Don't be beta. Don't be passive. In general, these are off-putting behaviors for women. Depends. I would never talk about kicks and hip-hop to a black person just because of their race. But if I ask a black dude to spot me in the gym, and he's wearing high tops and Beats, that would be a good place to start a conversation. Or if I'm in the gym and I see a girl in full make-up and loose hair, I know what she's really there for. Of course, maybe the black dude was listening to Beethoven. And maybe the girl had just come from a dinner party. Not as likely though.

When you approach experiences on a case-by-case basis, eventually you notice the commonalities between cases and form heuristics in order to be more efficient. It's silly to notice a pattern and ignore it. I mean, this is something that has been fundamental to the success of human civilization as a whole. That being said, I agree that open-mindedness is necessary.

If someone tried to ruin my day by saying "You're a fucking woman, dude!" I would piss myself laughing. That being said, I get your point. I never considered that a woman might get pleasure from receiving male-oriented insults. If it helps your viewpoint, I actually find a lot of pride in being male -- lifting heavy things, eating tons of food, blasting a deer's spine out of its ass, etc. So maybe you're not alone.

In a comment, you claimed that your thesis was that you can be non-Redpill without being ignorant. But in your OP you seem to be making a case against life as a RPW. I'll address both arguments. 1) The metaphor was largely set up around male ignorance to sexual strategy and identity. By being a female that already understands sexual strategy, you reinforce the position of the Red Pill by that much more. "Women are the true pragmatics." 2) In response to the original post itself: letting someone …

TRP strawman BPers as what they have been before they swallowed the pill Well, by default, we were Blue Pill before we took the Red Pill. accepting hopelessness so you rearrange your priorities. Which would of course be practical, but your original post seems to paint success with women as the parameter in question. Also, an attitude of pessimism -- by connotation if not definition -- seems to strongly contradict an "acceptance of fate" and a "rearrangement of priorities". These things sound more like... optimism.

There's still a little bit of value. If you're not Chad, talking to anyone is good practice, especially girls. Also, if girls see you with her without realizing you're just friends, you get some social proof.

Fair enough, though your wording did imply otherwise. You might want to edit that into your OP -- this thread is filling up with misunderstandings.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/16 09:02 PM

But it also functions as a vicious cycle. If you're pessimistic, you're probably more likely to be incel. Why work out? You'll never be as fit as Chad. Why go to medical school? You'll have so much debt when you get out. Why start a business? You don't even know if it will succeed. Self-improvement is less likely with pessimism. So your airtight case is correct in terms of reason but incorrect in terms of practicality. True, the incel is most likely not going to get laid anytime soon (accounting…

Lmao before long I'll have to start a RPbeauty subreddit. Not as knowledgeable with hair. But here's my advice anyway. Find your three friends who have the best hair. Ask them where they get their hair cut. Might be a professional stylist but it will probably be worth it. If young, keep experimenting and try bold looks. There are a few criteria to identifying a truly doomed White Knight. First, there's the sexism. (Yep, that's right, coming from an RPer). White Knights believe that women need defending, and thus that women cannot defend themselves. Implicitly, they view women as gentle and fragile creatures that they need to protect. Another component is the thirst. White Knights are sad, thirsty creatures that struggle to experience women or get laid. Even an encounter with a woman is a rarity. This scarcity m…

We're not saying every woman is a certain way, and we are most certainly not stating that women are all identical -- which means you've (accidentally) attacked a strawman. Let's use a different starting point. Would you suppose that women are biologically different from men? Science says so. How about cognitively? I think it's reasonable to sa…

i'm not saying dont keep an eye out for red flags, but awalt prejudices against all potential matches. What does this even mean? Bloopies do this all the time -- straddling two opposing viewpoints and trying to patch together the best pieces of each of them into a perfect worldview. No. Either all guns are loaded, or you don't mind when guns are pointed at your head. One or the other. Night or day. No evening.

First of all, I forgot to acknowledge the effort you put into the OP. Rude of me to criticize beforehand. So, kudos. Skip the next two paragraphs if you're in a hurry. Weirdly enough, after my post I actually had a lecture on emotions today. One of these researchers decided to break up the rather vague term of "happiness" into more specific, testable, quantifiable parameters such as compassion, resilience, etc. In my opinion, that would have been better for the studies in the OP. Or perhaps a ma…

Happiness is subjective as fuck and difficult to measure. And if these studies are using voluntary response sampling then they are statistically worthless regardless. Do you have links to the studies?

I would have to take a break because my internal bleeding had made me anemic. This would make her upset. "Can't we go anywhere?" Aaaand I'm back in the anger phase.

Yep, it's sad. Lots of bloopies living their whole lives as boys. Don't give up, though. Depression is partly defined by learned helplessness. Surely you could put together a poker night or something to revive the camaraderie? Then your son could witness it and learn the dying art of being a man.

Cool, your penis can be any jacket you want. But you don't get to tell me what kind of jacket my penis should be.

I agree, confidence isn't attractive in itself. But attraction is holistic, too. No one thing can make a person attractive. A fat guy with great fashion sense is just a fat guy with great fashion sense. A skinny, awkward loser with a pretty face is nothing more. Even still, nice clothes and good facial structure are still attractive.

First of all, this is a quality post OP. It's not confident people who are attractive, it's attractive people who are confident. This was your thesis, and it's really thought-provoking. But one could argue that confidence can certainly be attractive. Boldness, risk-taking, and lack of inhibition helps a guy escalate. And that is only one example. For your thesis to be true, you would need to imply that confidence absolutely has no influence on attraction, right? I just can't get on board with th…

Respect should be earned. The author feels entitled to it. Not surprising.

Here's a monkey example. Wish I had a PLOS ONE link or something. As for the complainers, they are just disillusioned. The most angry are the most lied to. You know how movies always have the happy ending? Well, real life isn't like that. You have to earn the happy ending. You seem to know this better than anyone. But they didn't. They never knew it. Their moms babied them, their movies misled them, and their fathers failed them. People get pissed off when they realize that no one told them the …

First of all, I respect your sincerity. So I'll do my best for you. The first thing I should clarify is that the only place that gives red pill advice for women on reddit is /r/RedPillWomen , as far as I know. Outside of that, /r/TheRedPill has absolutely no intention of telling you what to do with your life -- it is designed for men, and women are merely visitors there. As far as I can tell, Red pillers want me to abandon everything that makes me proud of who I am, abandon it, and focus my self…

Here's the thing, OP. Confidence is a spectrum. It's not black and white. And this makes it really hard for your model to work. For example, what confidence level (stats pun) would be perfectly neutral? "That guy is, like, averagely confident. You know, kind of confident. Not sexy confident, but not insecure either." Furthermore, I would definitely argue that a high confidence level can be attractive, not just as a prerequisite that "isn't unattractive" but as something that would boost your val…

Every expectation and disadvantage felt by men is a product of Patriarchy. Right. So what do you think of the Duluth model, which is based in feminist theory?

You're probably better off googling human evolutionary biology, but I'll give it a swing anyway. I'll assume you mean before conception. In the sexual marketplace, eggs are more valuable than sperm. Women that get knocked up are off the market for months. It's more important for women to vet their partner before having sex, because it puts them at an evolutionary disadvantage to get knocked up by some scrub's genes. Furthermore, she would be at an evolutionary disadvantage if she didn't have a r…

I think you're assuming too much. You can't really tell an anonymous redditor how happy he is, or how much he knows about his friends.
