Good Samaritan law is if the old lady tries her best to remove the debris, but because of it some of it shifts and causes him extra harm... she is not liable because she tried to help in good faith. Because suicide is considered flawed thinking and if a person is reaching out and you encourage them to do harm to themselves, it's assisting in their death. She held a position of trust and abused it to cause someone harm. It's like the opposite of the Good Samaritan law.

Yah, I'm not sure if I watched the same video as some in this thread. It showed lots of women trying to become combat Marines. Of the three they followed, two made it into combat positions and one still became a marine. I was in the Navy and I probably wouldn't have made it through Marine boot camp (and more importantly didn't want to.) I would say this isn't PPD, kudos to the women who actually succeeded.

That sucks. But, yeah it's a story that happens a lot. When I was younger and just starting out, there was a case where someone fought someone else. The first guy ends up going to the hospital and when the ambulance arrives three of the second guy's friends rush over and stab the guy coming out of the ambulance. I'm all for people "getting their just desserts," hell, I'm subscribed to this subreddit. But, it seems a lot of people don't understand what "just" is.

Fine, maybe he didn't. But, I'm a medic and worked most recently at a level 1 trauma center. Fighting back or even just fighting to get your point across, fine. But, no one deserves to have their orbitals caved in, or their broken ribs shoved into their lungs, or any other horrible things that happen in 3+ on 1 fights. This subreddit is great for seeing someone get knocked off their pedestal, but no one deserves to be severely beaten.

Really talented goalie in Women's US Soccer. Really shitty human. Pretty sure if you google "Hope Solo assault", you'd find lots of info on it. I think she assaulted her younger nephew and maybe someone else. And, she didn't get fired for that (even though she should have), but then she trash talked other Olympic teams. She also had nude photos leaked, they were gross.

Wait. What? There's definitely nociceptors in your bladder. It's what gives you the sensation to urinate. Although, the catheter doesn't cause pain to your bladder. It gets inserted, a balloon is filled with saline, the catheter is carefully pulled outward to lightly wedge the balloon so that urine doesn't leak out. It's not really a painful procedure (unless the wrong size catheter is used), just uncomfortable. It's still shitty that it is ever done against someone's will.

I'm not sure why you two are fighting... but, the guy in the video said he had a plot synopsis "like wikipedia," not that he had seen the movie. It's safe to say the movie is going to be complete trash, but the youtuber is just complaining about someone's description of the movie. Pretty stupid.

Nothing they said had a feminist tone, though. In fact, the only female subject they talked about was the one using her fitbit to prove she was injured and deserved more money (which they were against). It seems a little extreme to add all this extra meaning to their words. You seem to already hate them and are just using irrelevant things they say to hate them more.

I'm confused. The whole video is them upset that lawyers are using the fitbit info in a case to prove someone is less active after an injury, since she could have just worn it less. And then, they're upset that every new invention has to be mined for data and used against the consumer. I can't say I disagree with anything they discussed in the video. What does this have to do with the false accusation other than the use of a fitbit?
