There is no pedestal. It’s a tool that I tried and I found it works for me. I don’t care whether it’s body weight exercises or a bar that does the trick. It is a tool like any other, and it’s the tool I’m using right now and I will keep using until it stops working or I feel like switching up. My rack and my weights are still here.

What. Yes, people I occasionally work with, whom I meet from time to time, have told me so. Friends I train with told me so. My girlfriend told me so. I don’t know why it sounds so weird to you. Has no one ever told you that they noticed you change? Or is it because I haven’t posted my current weight? I only post here to receive criticism and outside perspectives, I don’t care about impressing people whom I will never meet. “ Why are you with her if after 6+ months you still don’t find her attra…

OYS #6 Relationship Stats: Age 30, Gf is 27. LTR 2 years. We bought a house together almost a year ago. Training Stats: My double pyramid with weighted vest seemed to work. I have met with different people that I haven't seen in a 2/3 months and they spontaneously told me that my back is wider and I'm generally bigger. Even if I were weaing a jacket. Read: NMMNG, Praxeology vol.1, WISNIFG (perhaps the most useful book I ever read). My paradigm changed a lot since I found MRP. I no longer feel mu…

OYS #5 Relationship Stats: Age 29, Gf is 27. LTR 2 years. We bought a house together a few months ago. Training Stats: Calisthenics combined with a weighted vest doing double pyramids workouts and sprints for legs. Upped my protein intake as suggested to me by u/FunkyModem and gains improved visibly as well as definition. Books: Read NMMNG and praxeology vol.1, just started WISNIFG Praxeology (suggested read by u/FunkyModem) really brought together NMMNG for me. In particular it really exposed a…

I'm not sure. I know she feels attraction for me by her IOIs but maybe it's not that much attraction or it's superseded by the comfort. Buying a house was a big mistake in hindsight. A huge one. I will get info on all the ways I can break free from it. I can probably reformulate the e mortgage once I get more % of the company I'm working at right now. It will take about a year though. Sorry for the flow of consciousness, thank you for your answer.

selawat Sorry, I didn't see your comment until now. Nothing magical about it, it's just that my body responds better for reasons beyond my comprehension. The routine is taken form KBoges, I train 5 days a week, full body everyday. One pull exercise, one push exercise, one leg exercise + abs and one auxiliary movement for arms. Example: 4 sets to failure of wide grip pull ups 4 sets to failure of elevated push ups 4 sets to failure of deep step ups 3 sets to failure of deadbug / leg raises 3 sets…

It might be. I read part of sgm about a year ago when the problems started, but the insights I found in there haven't really helped me in the specific situation. I'm probably so stuck in a need for validation that sgm is just too advanced for me right now. Although I also never had problems of a dead bedroom before. It might be that me and her both suck at sex. How's that for a balanced relationship

Thank you. It's mostly clean, I only get a little dirty for breakfast with biscuits. The rest is rice, eggs, vegetables, olive oil, butter and meat. I've never quite looked at macro splits before. 20% protein does seem suboptimal, given that I train daily. I'll try to up it and see the results.

65kg for 176cm ectomorph I'm on 3000kcal - 3300kcal daily I'm tracking on MyFitnessPal and following their macros of 50cho 30fat and 20pro. Seems to work fine so far. Before bodyweight I did starting strength, alternating it with hypertrophy programs based on the same compound movements. Back then my diet wasn't optimal as I wasn't consistent with it. But I still went from 52kg to 58kg. With bodyweight (started on and off one year ago and combining it with a little weights) i went to 58kg to 65k…

attempt to build a frame from the resources, go hit the gym in some form or fashion, autistically shut up, and generally fumble their way to a better sex life after failing over and over while the rest of us laugh at them (or crash and burn, but hey, we need a success story around here every now and then). Touch grass. Reading a book doesn't make you better than everybody else. Other than that I think that attachement theory might be the other half of the medal that hasn't been explored here on …

They are ways that I value and that she does spontaneously on her own, which in my opinion makes them even more valuable. Also worth noting, I've been steering clear from porn for a while now (I think since late february but I didn't really count). However I haven't applied the "healthy masturbation" advice from NMMNG. My bad.

OYS #4 Relationship Stats: Age 29, Gf is 27. LTR 2 years. We just bought a house. Work Stats: Recently became a limited partner in the business I've been working for since 2016. Training Stats: Calisthenics combined with a weighted vest has done more for me in a couple of months than years of weights did in terms of hyperthrophy. I enjoy every workout and have been very satisfied with the results. Books: Almost done reading NMMNG My sexual attraction towards my LTR has been shaky in the last mon…

I feel like you're leaving out part of the story. This is not normal behaviour for a LTR of 2 years in response to you taking a day out. Thank you for your reply. I left out the fact that she woke up already in a bad mood and that I got home later than I thought I would due to traffic. I agree that it isn't normal behavior, she usually isn't like this. I could be wrong but what I suspect you're leaving out here is a backstory on you either going Rambo or acting like a retarded asshole. I don't k…

OYS #3 Relationship Stats: Age 29, Gf is 27. LTR 2 years. We just bought a house. Work Stats: Recently became a limited partner in the business I've been working for since 2016. Following the advice of nmmng I took a Sunday for myself, which I haven't being doing for a couple of months now due to an injury. I went at a climbing crag with some friends, where there was very bad reception. She was at home alone and sent me passive aggressive texts pretty much all day long, which I downplayed or dow…

OYS #2 Relationship Stats: Age 29, Gf is 27. LTR 2 years. We just bought a house. Work Stats: Recently became a limited partner in the business I've been working for since 2016. Training Stats: I'm about to start implementing my bodyweight regimen with a weighted vest. I'm having several breakthroughs reading NMMNG, the part about covert contracts in particular hits pretty close home and I did not expect this book to make me feel this much uncomfortable with myself. Last night I realized that th…

Thank you for your reply. Can't you do both? Chin ups between pressing sets, push ups between SQ and DL, etc. I love weights, there is nothing like the pump that iron gives you. But classic bodyweight exercises (chin ups, push ups, dips etc) gave me the most gains ever. My friends and my girlfriend noticed, even with my shirt on. Still, I miss BP and Dls, so I might mix them up like you say in the future as well. AWALT. This is the anger phase - nothing that no one here has not seen before. All …

OYS #1 This is my first post. I hope I'm properly following the community guidelines, but please let me know if I'm falling short. Also, english is not my first language, so although I proofread everything, I apologize in advance for any mistakes. Stats: Age 29, Gf is 27. LTR 2 years. We just bought a house. I recently stopped lifting and went full-on bodyweight exercises, getting more gains than I ever did with weights (she noticed and appreciated). Reading: NMMNG and MRP, which are helping me …
