This is truly disturbing! Based on the other responses it is shocking what men got away with. This is a great lesson to learn about - nobody is what they appear to be.

Lol must be hard for the men to swallow the fact that we like to look good for OURSELVES! We check ourselves out in the mirror too. Agreed - she is HAWT in both photos and good for her for attaining the body SHE wanted and not because of her abusive husband. 💪👏

I guess I should re visit the handbook (IT HELPED ME SO MUCH!). Honestly, since I was as inexperienced as her I was not able to tell her straight out he is not for her. After your response, I now know she needs to kick him out. That is a sad reality but I agree. Whenever she wants reassurance from us we always give her advice but she just does what she wants. Its rather taxing nowadays. I hope she wakes up soon before it goes down south any more.

Agreed - she was not ready for a relationship in the beginning with constant complains and doubts. I am glad I am not the only one seeing this.

Things have changed so much since she started this relationship. We are both ambitious, young engineers with goals. We became friends because of our similar goals. Ever since this bf though, our topic is 70% him. I am glad my frustration was not out of some unrealized jealousy or unreasonable hate. I agree - even though they are happy most times, I know she could do MUCH BETTER. I hope she wakes up soon and takes a break. Thank you!

This is SO TRUE! I used to be someone who craved for a relationship. Both my close friends are in a serious relationship. They are supposedly happy but OH NO! The number of times they constantly complain about their partners, their drama, their fights.. 80% of our topic of conversation is about their love lives! I get sick of it after sometime. They also want to brag about their experience in sex (although I have not been in a serious relationship I have had my more than equal share of experienc…

Too true! I learned this the hard way and regretted being such a dumb ass ever since. Recently I mentioned my debacle to a guy friend of mine and even he mentioned how guys say anything and make up all kinds of stories to get into your pants. Wish I had seen FDS earlir!

This is SO TRUE in so many levels! A few years ago, before I knew what I wanted in life I put up with not-so-attractive guys and their toxic BS just because they found me attractive and wanted to date me. In my head my thoughts were" I was being open minded and kind, not judging them by their looks, they are supposed to be nice and they don't cheat" etc. All that happened was them treating me poorly, use my body and make ME feel bad about how things ended. Had to swallow hard life lessons to get…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
