I am 31 and have only just moved out from my parents. Just like you I feel like they were making me a weaker man. It is better you are getting this done at such a young age. But like everyone else says don't shun them and cut them off. I been through the same thing with another woman. I ghosted her, she tried showing up at my mums house. Mama told her to piss off lol. I’m not from Sweden bro. But I went there for a few days in spring and a lot of bars, clubs, restaurants even coffee shops would not accept cash payments. Was really shit since I like to carry my spending money in cash for economic reasons. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful country, really clean. Recommend to visit. You’re right Karl Marx did state the family unit functioned to prop up the capitalist system. But look at what we have today, Capitalism and Feminism thrive together and the family unit is breaking down. That’s why although my point contradicts Marx view on the family unit (which is outdated). I still make the claim that a Marxist revolution could actually work in favour of the traditional family.
