I've heard that salsa dancing can be a great way to meet men, but that might not be your cup of tea. I may have to second the other suggestion of online dating, as long as you feel safe and comfortable. Side note: I work in retail and therefore have a lot of chances to meet a captain, so I can't really talk. I actually went into retail with the intention of becoming more socially confident, but I merely created an extrovert persona that I slip into when working.

Well said; I couldn't have put it better. Leftists seem to like seeking attention for the sake of it, so perhaps that's their ulterior motive with regards to the march (and other protests I'm reading about). I've always thought that leftists are like the moles in Whack-a-Mole. The moment you think you've vanquished them, they pop up again to remind you of their existence.

I'm incredibly thankful to not be too close to the city of London (I live within the commuter belt). I feel as though the protests are futile, to say the least; President Trump won't simply have his presidency revoked just because of a march.
