Look at it this way. How often do you have to ask your wife for permission to spend money? My wife and I work as a team, but we don't have to ask if it's ok to buy a new toy or thing as long as bills are paid. I help her when she is short and she helps me when I'm short, and we get to keep our freedom. There is almost zero fighting over money with the exception of her hiding some small debt without telling me. Her credit got hosed and mine didn't. We are working on that as a team too.

This isn't something that's tied specifically to the gaming community, but society at large. It's generally true that people behave this way in every-day life. TV is one good example. So, this may be an unpopular opinion, but if you try to listen to what she says and give her a slight benefit of the doubt, she actually does hold a solid point. GWW did sort of act on hearsay without evidence. I don't think that Rad's way of going about addressing it was necessarily the most mature, but still. I'm not a theist, so no, I'm not making any sort of religious argument. What I'm saying is that each issue needs to be fought for independently and people need to stop comparing FGM to MGM completely, or else it's going to be a giant unnecessary battle all the way down, and MGM will get no recognition because it's "not as important" as FGM. The fact that people compare them at all is in and of itself harmful to the efforts of ending MGM.
