Thanks, in the past I looked into it and advised him accordingly. But now I'm gonna try to enforce it. Staying off the booze is one of the best ideas, I specifically refused to drink or self medicate for the reasons. She doesnt want me doing house chores, because im figuring out she was on vacation mode if i really get into it, it migth take 2 maybe 3 hours tops. When I was still married and got furloughed during covid, so much this. Now divorced, but her house is a mess, mine is not. I work she doesn't and while she has the kids, it sometimes feels as if only by technicality since they are either at school, at the neighbors house, or at her parent's for the weekend.

I was told that for most its around a total of 1/2-3/4ths of the time in the relationship. Starting from dating all the way to divorce. I'm assuming that what you are hoping for is apathy towards or indifference. But in my experience my love had turned to hate part way through though I count it as the same. For me yes and no. I dont think about her unless my son is involved or he talks about her. Usually it's about his treatment (or lack of) or some of the things she has said to him about me. In those scenarios my anger comes back in full force, however I keep it in check and try to diffuse/move on. The feeling is there, it is a part of me, and it will pass and I will go back to not thinking about her.

It wasn't a work related memory with my dad, but I have 2 that I really liked. One was where I'd sit on his lap as he played the OG wolfenstien, and the other was on the way to my grandparents he had me sit on his lap while he was driving and "let" me steer the car. Its on me for sure. I grew up being taught by my dad never to leave a woman and to work on the "problems" and I followed it thinking we could work through the issues. Yeaaaa it is my fault but I married one. She had told me about her kid 3 months after we got together and never mentioned it. Her reason "I thought you knew. Maybe I've experienced the wrong relationship but my Xwife did change the diaper and feed my son but that was it. She was either watching Netflix or playing skyrim all day outside of that. I would have had no problem switching lives with her. If she wanted to be a full time cook in a scratch kitchen, I'd love to have been at home with my son. (Spoiler: she didn't. Id almost say we had the same chick except mine would play video games all day, have the oldest parent the younger one. Then complained that "She needs a break from the kids" so now, she is divorcing me and spends most of her time on vr chat at her friends house and her mom takes the kids each weekend so she gets her break.
