They are using the word "attractive" in a semantically distinct way then how you are using it. "Attractive" as an adjective isn't the same as "attracted" the verb. You can be an attractive person but not attract literally everyone. Another poster said it best. They can be good looking in that they don't elicit disgust but their personality, body language, quirks, and disposition do not inspire arousal, excitement, or fascination.
