Seriously, there is next to no content here.

I love this, seriously drives the point home. I was going to say something about the same amount of raw product (you) increasing in value as its shaped into something new. I couldn't find a way to make that point succinctly, thanks for doing it for me. Guys think they aren't capable of attaining greatness. We all start off as something useless, it's our responsibility to fix that.

You're not, I laughed when I read this. Had to check to make sure it wasn't an Onion article. Showed it to my plate and told her I was going to stop working out for her, she laughed too.

I mentioned this a few days ago on a thread here. I wanted to expand on it in it's own post but, since you've beat me to it I'd just like to add a bit! You did a good job explaining what learned helplessness is, I just want to briefly talk about how to overcome it's effects. The first and most important step is learning about it. Just knowing it's a fallacy we can fall victim to helps immensely. It can be incredibly hard to break the pattern, you have to want something better and you have to wor…

I've actually been guilty of this. Sort of. I'd tell girls that I wanted a break instead of just breaking up entirely. I never took them back, but still. For anyone out there thinking of doing that, don't. It's much cleaner to just end it and move on, give them closure so they don't text you constantly asking when the break will be over. Eventually you'll have to hurt their feelings either way to make it clear to them. Just man up and end it.

It depends on what you feel helpless with. Feel free to ask something more specific. Generally just being aware that it's something you might be experiencing is incredibly helpful. Think about your situation as being someone else's. If your friend got sad after being shot down by one girl and decided to quit approaching all together you'd think he was foolish right? One failure, or even twenty failures, doesn't mean you'll never succeed. Keep trying and tell that little voice that says, "you can…

Absolutely. Confidence is everything man, if you don't believe you can, you won't try. If you're interested, look into learned helplessness Part of the reason lifting is preached so hard is because it builds self confidence. It's hard not to think you're the shit when you look in the mirror and realise you've gone from seeing flabs to seeing abs.

Women constantly reassess. Men don't. I've gone from friendzone to fuck buddy plenty of times. When we think of someone as a loser, they're pretty much always a loser. For women, they're a loser that moment and next week they might be their dream man.

Drinking is going keep you from doing that, you don't burn fat while your body metabolizes the alcohol. Don't self destruct over this, keep focusing on you and being the best you can. If she decides to leave you there are plenty more women out there, focus on abundance mentality. Also, don't go to the gym with your girl, that's your place to do you and worrying about what she's doing or who she's checking out or talking to is only going to slow you down. Keep your things separate, you need time …

Pretty sure he means that state are in when they're completely "in love" with you and they can't think about you in a rational way.

I dated an escort. 10/10 would recommend getting one, would not recommend dating one. She lied about her job and I didn't find out until after we had been seeing each other for several months. The sex was absolutely phenomenal and she was down for anything. I can only imagine having access to a gorgeous girl who knows what she's doing in bed without having to deal with her bullshit would be perfect. If you're super alpha and can get that without paying, you probably aren't reading this, if you'r…

Glad I could help. The best way to approach LTRs in my opinion is to think of them as a job. It's a surprisingly apt analogy. Ex. If you get promoted to a great job, you wouldn't quit doing work and expect to keep it. You know if you want to keep it you have to earn it, because there are plenty of other people who would happily take the job if you aren't doing it well. If you miss a day or two or do a shitty job on something once, you won't be fired immediately. If you do it constantly you will.…

Carefully planned manipulation is taking things too far. Anyone suggesting that is either a psychopath or they're trying to look "red-pill" and don't actually know what they're talking about. You absolutely should enjoy your relationship and not obsess about doing the right thing all the time. Most women won't leave a quality man for fucking up or being "beta" on occasion. The important thing isn't being alpha at all times it's making sure you keep earning the respect of your partner and not bec…

If you don't share the view, don't read the posts. If you're happy thinking the way you do, don't change it. The older you get (i'm guessing you're young) the more you'll come to see the truth in some of the posts here. Come back if you stop being happy with a "blue-pill" mentality. It's not for everyone. Personally I don't think any of this is depressing, there's a lot of angst in this subreddit in general but that comes with the territory.

You should edit this post and add some RP-related key points. Mods tend to delete link dump posts. Also, thanks for the link.

Part of it comes with age, women mature or at least come to realize that most men don't want that. Also, if you're new here you may want to spend a little more time on that sidebar. The issue is that you are letting your confidence be affected by women. Try building your confidence. One of the simplest ways is accomplishing goals. Set goals, achieve them, and you'll feel like you can achieve anything. No woman necessary. Here's an easy way: do as many pushups as you can, tell yourself you'll do …

I wish more people understood what you are saying. It's absolutely true. I'm glad you came to that realization and you're bettering yourself. It seems like most people who swallow the redpill improve themselves until they can get laid frequently and then stop improving. Nice to see another man with his priorities right. Good luck with your business man.

If you tell people you're broke, they will leave you alone. http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/brother-sharp-%E7%8A%80%E5%88%A9%E5%93%A5 Unless you're attractive.

Honestly you did fine. No one is perfect at all times, don't let a perceived moment of weakness get you down. You may feel like you failed there (you didn't by the way) and be frustrated, but remember all the good that has come from trp lessons and holding your frame so far. Focus on that, stay hungry for more, if you focus on failures you'll never get any where. As people have already said, you didn't really even fuck up. Stay strong and post again soon. You got this.

Oh, also, If you haven't already you should read "How to Win Friends and Influence People." I suggested it to a friend of mine who works in sales and they said it's helped them immensely. I recommend it for everyone really but if you're in sales or management it should be required reading. I listened to it as an audio book on a road trip, it's only about 8 hours or so. Turned a boring drive into a learning experience that has helped in numerous aspects of my life.

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for giving some more examples. It really is crazy how much people appreciate the smallest gestures! It blows my mind that simply moving a trash can for a stranger can end up enriching your life.

Thanks for consolidating some of that! I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of that and enhance the post as well. I honestly expected this post to end up buried and unseen. This subreddit is easily one of the best communities out there, thanks for helping make it that way :D
