Are you dishonest? OP said "wouldn't traumatize us AS BADLY as x". And you completely misinterpreted that. I share similar opinions as OP. I don't think you are doing much good if you engage people using the worst possible interpretation of what they say, which is something I see often from "both sides". Try to engage people fairly rather than this

No, I would feel incredibly happy that someone found me interesting and attractive. But as you said, you apparently won't believe anything we say, so why are you here?

I don't want my comment to come off as "charged", but why did your friend or you feel like you "had to" iron your friend's bf's shirt for him? If he can't be bothered, he can either go in a wrinkled shirt or a less suitable one, that's on him

I the discomfort is caused by you laying a hand on her, it absolutely is your problem.

But it does make a difference. You can never know anyone 100%. And people also change over their lives. Why do you think so many marriages end in divorce? So sure, maybe some women can be more observant and selective, but it doesn't matter how much you try if someone tricks you. I am all for the point of this sub, but acting like everything is women's fault and nothing is men's fault is ridiculous

And how do you know the hypothetical guy didn't hide his more negative qualities until he accidentally impregnated someone?

Would a man who gets someone pregnant and then just dips be a good father though?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
