Personally I don't think that terms like "pussypass" are quite how we want to present ourselves, but that could just be my own personal taste. Something like "discrimination against men" might offend people less so that we can get our point across. It's also harder for some people to make fun at or dismiss, imho. The title might be misleading but the fact that she treats people that way herself does seem relevant and interesting to me. I think if the public and courts knew she spoke like that to other people they might have a little less sympathy for her. Another thing that stands out for me is how many of the people talking about men's problems are women. Some feminists would accept that men's bodies might be better suited to a small number of jobs. Yep, I think this is a very good point. There are millions (at least) of men who shy away from being affectionate. Probably we repress a lot of caring feelings too. Dookhan has plead guilty to all the counts brought against her. As expected, she was given a three to five year sentence. Unbelievable. 3-5 years in prison (no doubt out on parole in half that) for deliberately tampering with evidence that led to up to 40,000 people being erroneously sent to jail? I completely agree. Unfortunately a lot of posters here seem to take issue with just coming out and saying we don't agree with some extremist sites like ROK etc. I think that's a mistake and makes us look bad, as well as not giving men the guidance they might benefit from. As an aside, "red pill" is a confusing phrase. Genuine men's rights folks do use it but it's also used by others (eg /r/theredpill), even though we have quite different views and goals.

The privilege could be that they marry up in the sense of marrying partners who have higher incomes than they do. That doesn't necessarily mean they begin at a lower level overall. Perhaps they choose not to earn so much money because they expect to find a partner who'll do it for them. I agree with your points 1 and 3, which is a great link showing that many people use the word sexism to include discrimination against men. However, I strongly disagree that the friend was nice about it. It came across to me as a form of aggression. And imho that's how it was intended to come across. Very interesting article. I'm surprised the gap isn't bigger. I wonder how they measured this - perhaps using questions that indirectly assessed school engagement rather than asking directly about how they feel would show a bigger difference. I'm also not very keen on the phrase "psychological dropout" - and I notice the authors use it mostly about boys. Wow, I just checked. The assault took place 16 weeks and 1 day ago (as of this writing) (edit: ftr, the article states that she is now 15 weeks pregnant!). Given that the woman was known (at least to some extent) by the victim, probably she was arrested very shortly after the date of the assault. So yeah, it seems she probably got pregnant just after, but within a week of, being arrested for a serious crime. This is really interesting.
