I have made the error of equating my self-value with how hot the bitches I'm currently pulling are how hot the bitches I'm currently pulling are the bitches Please don't do this.

Can't criticize a single thing you did. There was nothing you could do about her cockblocking friends without lowering your value to all of them. You made it very clear you were interested in her, and you respected her friends' protectiveness. And it paid off. Go you!
/r/seduction02/10/13 09:19 AM

Why though? It would make an interesting contrast to your opening offhand remark, like asking her the time.

She stayed over one night, then went ahead and started fucking some other guy within 5 days. Did you talk about becoming an exclusive item? If not, I don't see anything wrong with that.

I don't see any of those behaviours having anything to do with feminism. There's a lot of (negative) stereotyping going on here, though; that's more feminism's domain.

No. Lying about who you are is a) really, really creepy, and b) unlikely to work because you won't be able to keep up the facade. Oh, and it's really, really creepy. Be yourself. The most outgoing, not-giving-a-fuck version of yourself, sure. But copying someone else's OKCupid profile?!! Lame.

I think his point is that although they are awkward, they weren't forced. He just said the first vaguely relevant thing and went from there. If you have to stop and think what sounds cool you might miss the moment.

Just because you're looking for something long term doesn't mean you have to know immediately that this girl is the one. Just be clear about what you want at that moment (eg another date, not marriage). I have learned the hard way not to go into too much detail about the future unless you're absolutely sure of what you want. But conversely, if you are sure you might as well tell her because it creates the right frame - if her head / feelings are somewhere else the onus is now on her to tell you.
/r/seduction26/08/12 10:08 AM

Continue to be your awesome self. You feel like making breakfast, or going for a walk, or have stuff you need to get on with and need them to go? - act accordingly. A girl I used to hook up with would make it very clear when she needed me to go, and I appreciated her directness. Being clear with someone is a gift to them of your honesty. If you want to see her again, don't play mind games, just tell her.
/r/seduction26/08/12 09:29 AM

When you say "attraction", you actually mean looks, right? And this is a different thing from socially constructed notions of good looks. I think your generalisation kind of holds, that men tend to put more emphasis on looks, but there is a very wide spectrum of what appeals, lookswise, to any given person.

What's wrong with wanting sex? Is it somehow worse than other things we might want from other people, such as companionship, a shoulder to cry on, a study buddy, etc? Sex is a mutually enjoyable pastime. What the OP has learned, is to be upfront about it, where the stereotypical "nice guy" - and I'm sure most of us have been there at one time or another - equivocates and ends up frustrated, angry or just plain creepy.

Thank you. Several times a day I say to myself "You are a good man". I just wrote a long email to a woman I have been flirty with explaining why we couldn't be together, even though we both want to, and she wrote back saying I was a "lovely person". Made my day.

No, I'm not. Postulating a world where women oppress men, or indeed where men are oppressed at all, is insanity. One might as well consider a world where the laws of mathematics were different. PS. What would sexism be like in a world where addition wasn't commutative?
/r/MensRights16/05/12 11:05 AM

I don't see political correctness as specifically feminist. Making laws about it was what happened back in the 80s when left-leaning people got a bit of political power but nowhere near enough to actually do anything important. Totally agree that as it became part of the state apparatus it became a tool of oppression. My agenda is is overthrowing capitalism. Its oppressive structures will dissolve or radically change their nature when that happens. I don't put all my energy into fighting gender …
/r/MensRights16/05/12 10:41 AM

I am not interested in your definition of "sexist" in that case. But I am interested in oppression, which is the systematic denial of rights on some arbitrary basis (eg gender). Your examples are stupid. What has the "pikey" incident got to do with feminism? While I oppose the use of speech which reinforces oppressive structures I would stop well short of utilising the power of the state - the real oppressor - against people who use that kind of language, and so should we all. I'm also against a…

I'm a guy, but the facebook poster is correct. You can't have sexism against men, because sexism is an expression of the current power structure. If we lived in a matriarchal society it wouldn't be possible to have sexism against women.

Maybe she met some other guy but it didn't work out with him, so you're her plan B.
/r/seduction07/03/12 04:04 PM

If she does mention being friends again, you could try saying something like "You may think we're just going to be friends, but what you don't realise is I'm going to date the fuck out of you."
/r/seduction07/03/12 04:01 PM

As someone who's had a few occasions of wondering why I was fucking this person, I think your instincts were right about her: if it felt awkward kissing her it was unlikely to improve as things escalated. Just because she was dtf doesn't mean you have to be.

All depends on your definition of "hot". Quite apart from the ridiculousness of the HB* system, given that everyone has different tastes, a girl who's into science already has bonus points from where I'm sitting.

It sounds like you're thinking of taking advantage of this person, and her attachment to you. Given that you don't fancy her much, and don't think you can love her, the situation is quite risky - if she feels the way you think she does, she probably will end up getting hurt. TBH, sex with someone you don't really fancy is not worth it. I don't hear any abundance mentality in your post. Go out there and find someone who really presses all the right buttons, and keep this person as a friend.

One of the coolest things about the seddit ethos is that you should just flirt with everyone (ie engage them in conversation, show interest in that they're saying, be generally awesome) whether they conform to your sexual preference or not. Where I can imagine things could get awkward for you is that a guy your hitting on might get reactive when he suddenly realises that things are getting overtly sexual. One way you might defuse this is to make it very obvious that you're gay quite early on. Wi…

I really don't know how to handle the thought of hitting on a straight man by accident I really feel for you. As a straight guy I don't mind guys hitting on me, but I know there are lots who would, and might even get nasty. It's bad enough having to overcome the standard rejection-nervousness (but that's why you're here, right?), without extra worries. I suspect, though, that once you exude confidence in your approaches, straight guys will tend to get less reactive.

It'll take some self-control but I think not replying would be a smart move. If it's any kind of test you cannot fail by not rising to it. Even if it's not she'll wonder if you got the text and probably send some kind of backtracking follow-up.

/r/seduction10/08/11 10:33 AM

My teeth are one of my weak spots, looks-wise, but I am constantly told I have a great smile, probably because when I smile I am genuinely pleased/happy. I no longer give a shit whether anyone thinks I have below-par teeth.

Ugly is 90% in the mind. Everyone has weirdnesses about how they look. Dwelling on them or not giving a shit about them is the main difference between being unattractive or attractive to your preferred gender. I say this as a guy who got teased through school as super-ugly but now turns girls' heads wherever I go (not all of them, of course, but enough).
/r/seduction04/08/11 12:19 PM

I misread your comment about other chicks, but it gave me an idea. Let her know that she's not the only woman in your life. Lie if necessary. Hang out with female friends and flirt with them, ideally around your current gf. There are only upsides to this: you'll feel more empowered, she'll see you as sexually desirable.
/r/seduction24/05/11 07:03 PM

So the rights of overweight people don't matter because in theory they could lose weight, conform and the problem would go away?
/r/MensRights20/05/11 03:32 PM

Useful info and insight, here. Thanks, and sorry it didn't entirely work out. Most guys would've been put off by her obviously not wanting to kiss. Some girls are just not that into it though. From all the kino she was giving you, and the fact that she came back, she probably did want to fuck.

This account was just a throwaway that took on a life of its own. Some people seem to really like my username... I think you can be oversensitive, or rather you can survive with your delicate edges intact longer than most do. By "you", I also mean "I". But I am learning - finally - what "too nice" means. For me at least it's been a case of not having any boundaries around caring for and helping others, at my own expense. Afraid to say "no", basically.
/r/seduction14/04/11 06:49 AM

I know what you mean. For the first time in my life I find myself consciously choosing what I want, rather than waiting until I am overwhelmed by uncontrollable desire, probably thanks to some therapy I had last year.

IMO there is a difference between honour and morality. Morality I get at a deep gut level. I don't always do the right thing but I know when I haven't. I asked for an explanation of honour because I just don't get it. From the outside, although Nicoscope doesn't put it like this of course, honour looks a lot like ego. Collective ego, if we're generous. It is generally associated with what looks to everyone not directly involved like pointless violence: honour killings, the honour of fighting for…

Very interesting, but this honour system you describe is the antithesis of the prevailing money system, which though petty and rule-based was also created and is chiefly perpetuated by men.

I'm an older dude, but my impression is that this kind of thing is far less of a no-no than it used to be. Have you been clear with her so far, ie there's no possibility she thinks she's your exclusive gf? As long as you've been honest with her you have nothing to worry about. Seduction is not trickery. If she finds out you're seeing other women it may galvanize her to thinking more clearly about what she wants this thing with you to be. You should think about it now so you can be clear about wh…

That was a great FR and I can tell it gave you great boost. One thing that confuses me, though, is that it seems you only realised she was a "10" when she told you what her job was. What would you have rated her before you got this knowledge? Personally I don't like to be affected by other people's opinions of what's attractive.

I think the point is to stop and consider whether your instinctive response is strategically the right thing to do.

I read that as a metaphorical slap.

Misread the first sentence as "I telephoned the lover of the person I just had sex with all weekend". Confusion profusion.

I agree with this use of smileys. It says "I'm taking the piss out of you in a friendly way because I know you can take it", where without the smiley it might say "I am a cunt".

He didn't mention the other part, where he has to get laid the other 364 days.

I would say to absolutely follow your instincts. You've obviously done a lot of work on your confidence, so just trust that when it feels right to make the next escalation it probably is.

I want this too. It's hard to get it all from just reading peoples comments on here.

Great to see a post on here which isn't just "get a shag at all costs".

Could you point me towards some good teaching material? I am having to piece things together from people's posts and comments. There are definitely gaps and stuff I can't decode, like "inner game".

That's certainly why I downvoted him. It sounded like he wad saying 'women should know their place."

It mostly had to do with my cluelessness as to the meaning of the word "roofies". Though as I am typing this I realise it must mean Rohypnol.

I'm pretty new here, and don't like a lot of the suggestions people are coming up with that seem rather down on the woman, although it is an unfair question which demands the answer "of course I would". But the idea of shepherding her away somewhere private with "ok, but you owe me" is very appealing.

... like I said. But only you can define what constitutes "better" and "best possible" for you.

Naw, messy can be very attractive. Only smarten yourself up if you're trying to pull guys that expect a woman to make a lot of effort with her appearance. I thought seddit was all about being your most awesome self. If messy and clownish is what you are, be your own special messy clown.

Can't speak for other guys, but funny, intelligent and confident moves any woman up about three levels for me.
