21	(How) do men protect themselves against assault? This. Best case scenario if you're raped is that no one believes you and you get ridiculed. Worst case you get accused of rape. Much like most other times in your life you'll have to 'cowboy up' and not get to the point where you're so drunk you need to be babysat by someone else. I know there are times when we over indulge, but try not to do it around people you don't really know, or don't really know well.
