I don’t feel like a “man” is a man if he cheats…I don’t feel like they deserve my time, respect or body, if he decides to cheat…that in itself is the worst kind of disrespect. Period.

Why not file if you’re the one that made the choice to step out/away? Why not file if you are the one that’s unhappy?

I’ve had this connection happen twice. You could feel the sparks/vibe and it could be cut like a knife it was so thick….one was when I was way younger and the other was when I was way older lol…

You should tell your wife you’ve done this and then file the papers. This is terrible behavior for someone that’s still married…

Was he married in a church?

I agree with this so much. Same goes for me “life story” blah blah. Kids, non-existent “husband”….

Sir…you’ve just explained my reasoning and marriage to a T. Other than the money with the uncle. We do not reside together due to circumstances with children atm. We made a family plan and he told me what he thought I wanted to hear…then changed his mind and now we don’t exist.

You’re right. I’m sorry. Why weren’t you going to file?

You were never going to file yet you would maybe “date her”? I call bs

This isn’t true. I tried talking with my person. Telling him the same thing over and over and over again. I got told to shut the fuck up and that he needed time and distance…even after a month of giving that to him…so I started confiding in others, family and friends…he hasn’t contacted me yet and I honestly don’t think he’s going to. Because he doesn’t care.

How is this the correct decision? Do you love her? Does she love you? Are the two of you smart enough people to see beyond the petty stuff and see the big picture or do you hate each other too much already? Sounds like she doesn’t want a divorce because she wants to try to work it out…she still loves you.

There’s a public domain for public records…marriage, divorce, child support, kids, custody…stuff like that.

This can never happen since women still get paid 33 cents less on the dollar than a man…

Usually it’s because they’ve been asking for the same things over and over and over for years and they don’t feel heard, believed or validated. A lot of it is cheating too. Gross.

Ahhhh post nuptial. Read that wrong. Are they just as strong in court? I heard they can easily get thrown out due to coercion.

Mine is the opposite. He discarded. I’m bluntly honest and loyal to a fault. I have no commitment issues and tried building with someone that just gave me grief and was too scared.

Same! I went from a consistent 120 to 105…have been stuffing my face for a month and can’t gain any weight. It’s the stress of worry.

Have you told her this directly?

Agreed. There again, it can be so 360 too, regardless of how much love or forgiveness was in the relationship.

You can still make choices to be heard. It’s how you go about it, is what’s most important.

My husband went through weeks of classes to convert, by his own choice. We attended church regularly. He became well known and liked at our church. Then one day said “hell with it” stopped going and stopped taking the kids with me. Moving forward, knowing now, that was the first step to him moving on…

That’s fine, great and dandy. USUALLY, women get pissed because of some reoccurrence that’s annoying them. Then there’s just the ones that are ALWAYS angry.

Depends on how you treat them. Do you listen to them when there’s a problem or just ignore it and keep doing the same stupid sheet?

Yes. With free will you have the choice to learn and grow or not learn. He will continually put you through these challenges until you learn the lesson he wants to teach you.

Did she leave for a reason? Did you tell her you needed space and she’s waiting for you to contact her? God has his own plans for everyone. Hate the sin not the sinner is what I keep hearing.

Have you talked to her about reconciling? Or is it an assumption? Personally, it takes two people to make it work. What my priest told me was to love him the best you can. That if he’s hurting he’s going to need more love and less judgment. All you should do as a husband is love her. Keep giving and showing love. I figured this bit of information should be passed onto you. I believe divorcing is a cop-out for not wanting to grow, change or it’s done out of fear, hate or resentment. There shouldn…

Have you talked to her about it? Some people can only love as much as they know how. Did you know how she loved prior to marriage? Growth is hard to do together. With enough time they can either surprise you or disappoint you. Can’t live on what ifs and regret it later.

I have the same problem…unfortunately, someone that doesn’t see an error in their ways won’t bother to get themselves help. Regardless of who might be lost, challenged or broken. Sometimes a nice little boost by offering couples therapy or counseling could be the start to getting the necessary help.

What was the proof she was talking to someone else? Did she tell you she was?
