No, it shows the trend is increasing IPV against men over a two year period. Not that the instance of IPV against men is higher than for women. However, I assume the stats are actually much higher against men than indicated in the report, bc us culture is not constructive for men to feel they can report and therefore men under report instances of IPV or fail to even realize they are a victim, sadly. I will acknowledge that the actual stats as described in the summary were higher than I expected.…

I saw that IPV is higher for men this year than for men last year, but still not more than for women overall. I also noticed that HS age women were statistically more likely to perpetrate than HS age men. Are you of the belief that DV/IPV happens more frequently to men than to women?

I only reviewed a summary of the Partner Abuse State of Knowledge Project, but it said on the first page that women experience a higher overall rate of intimate partner victimization (IPV) and a higher lifetime rate of IPV than men. I didn't see data there on rape/assault specifically, only IPV.
