Thank you for adding a little common sense and rationality into TRP

I'm in - 2 days down already. I masturbate at LEAST twice a day - and in realising I'm doing it to repress feelings of sexuality. A core belief I've got is that I'm not attractive (despite a great career, great results from the gym, good social skills, etc) and I genuinely believe it comes from this habit. When I think about the last couple of years the most success I've had with women has ALWAYS been after I'd not knocked one out for a while - and already, after two days, I'm flirting more with…

Mate this is my number one tip to self improvement - change "you" for "I" - I find it accelerates the process very quickly!

If you want to really get rid of it, permanently, try Ayahuasca. It takes you to the root of where it started and lets you make peace with it, and even shit out the tight feeling you've got, which is actually your intestine literally being tight and holding on to past shit.

I had the criticism thing too. What I found was that I was actually being critical of my past self - which I saw in other people - rather than other people themselves. Once I reconciled this and understood that if it wasn't for my past then I wouldn't be where I am, then the criticism died down a lot

Something else that strikes me is your use of the word "disgusting". What happens to a lot of people is that they get a huge stigma or resistance to saying "I am weak" - it triggers an emotional reaction. This is a defence mechanism and a resistance, because there's a belief that it's very bad to be weak and accept this. The key is just to notice this, and not judge it.

Hi, if there is a subconscious belief of anything going on, and we say it out loud - ie bring it into conscious awareness and acknowledge it, we're creating the space for this belief to change. If we go on with it in the subconscious, never noticing it, it's always going to rule over our lives. For me, there were many many shields before I got to the core problem - the belief that I was weak. What I realised though was that it was this belief that meant that I needed all of these shields- so thi…

I've drank it about 40 nights now mate. On each occasion you get deeper into your subconscious beliefs and recognise them - and give them chance to heal. It's only lately at this level that I've started to hit the real core beliefs such as this one. My Ayahuasca experiences have sometimes been traumatic but the really difficult thing was life after the Ayahuasca. Ayahuasca opens up new neural connections that you have to consciously strengthen if you want to use them, so there's a lot of cogniti…

Perfect mate! You can spend all day repeating "I am strong" in your head, but all you're actually doing is rebelling against your core belief that "I am weak", so deep down it still controls you. Better to just accept your belief of weakness and watch how it naturally comes out and gives you chance to heal it.
/r/TheRedPill05/05/17 07:10 AM

Ok. There's no need to dwell on it now, don't spend any time analysing it, just move on with your life and see what happens :)

I've not actually mate, I've just drank a lot of Ayahuasca! I will do though, thank you for the heads up.

You've missed the point. At no point do I suggest you sit around thinking about it - in fact quite the opposite. I just suggest that you acknowledge it. It's VERY important to hit the gym and get strong as well.
/r/TheRedPill04/05/17 12:56 PM
10

I completely agree. Like you said, this belief can cause men to overcompensate in huge ways, especially in the gym, leading to huge results in a very short space of time. It's very important not to hold on to the insecurity after it is no longer true though, as this can lead to obsessions and addictions.
/r/TheRedPill04/05/17 11:06 AM

I've already done all of those things as well. But the mind is just as important as the body. What I actually comprehended was that the whole time I carried round the belief that I was weak - I actually was. The belief was true. It's only after all the gym and BJJ training that I am no longer weak, and was able to let the belief go.

I don't want to go too "law of attractiony" or anything here but I'd agree with your last paragraph - however, if you believe the world is an unfair horrible place you're probably not going to have a whole lot of enthusiasm to live life. If you believe life is beautiful and amazing, you're much more likely to want to live it to the full and get the most out of it, getting lots of interesting hobbies and an attractive personality. Sure some downs are always going to happen, but a positive outlook…

I met a guy at work a little while ago who was dropping red pill truths left right and centre, hes a good guy and we already got on pretty well so i decided to slyly throw a TRP reference into the conversation to see if he'd bite. He did, and now we're great friends. Hello if you're reading this pal. I understand the whole "do not talk about fight club" thing but SOMETIMES, on a very rare occasion, i think it's ok. I don't like the urgency factor behind this. I recently discovered my purpose. It came to me almost by "accident" (if you believe in such things) and there is no doubt in my mind that this is what i want to devote my life to. There's also absolutely no way in hell that it could've come any earlier, because i needed events in my life to lead up to it. The urgency in the post puts a lot of pressure and guilt on to people who haven't discovered it yet. For those people, the advice would be to do AS…

Hey bro, I don't think your problem is your job. Your problem is that you're life OUTSIDE your job isn't good enough and isn't worth working for - you've got nothing good that you actually love to spend your money on, making the whole 9-5 shit completely soul destroying. I might be wrong, but I've been in a similar boat for the last 15 years. It's important to realise that all anger is only ever towards yourself. The world is just a mirror of your internalised emotions, and if you're angry at the world it's because you're angry at yourself for living in denial of truth for so long. The truth really will set you free.

Ok, i asked the girl "do you want to come for drinks on Friday?" She said "sounds good, I'll let you know if I'm free." When i heard this, this is when i lost frame. I felt that I'd lost power, and felt a bit helpless. From my point of view there's a few ways of acting: 1) "that's not good enough, i need a yes or no" - forces a decision from her end but probably makes her feel im a bit desperate. I see socialising as part of self improvement. Ive split my life into areas - physical, spiritual, mental, financial, social, and sexual. I strive for constant improvement in all areas and set goals in all areas. What i tend to find is that as one area improves the others do by default

Yeah mate, looking back over my upbringing with a TRP perspective makes a lot of things fit together. Great post. I don't know if anyone here has tried bufo alvarius (5meoDMT) but it causes a complete dissolution of the ego for about 15-20 minutes, dissolves all the separation and lets your consciousness become one with the entire universe. It's not something you can easily explain unless you actually do it but it's changed my life, showed me that I'm creator of my own universe through my ego. Completely the same mate, I was lucky enough to be falsely accused of rape a couple years ago. The only thing that got raped was my soul. It took me absolutely ages to recover from it and I'm still scared of women, but it gets better every day, and I'm aware of it now.

Can attest to this. A few years ago in ibiza I'm sat on a bus on drugs and this 9 comes over and starts being very insulting to me very loudly, the worst comments you can imagine. I sit there smiling, because I'm on drugs. She goes on for 10 minutes. As I'm getting off she says "do you wanna fuck me then?" Life is funny. Saint Anton was living in the desert when a young man approached him. “Father, I sold everything I owned, and gave the proceeds to the poor. Welcome aboard mate. Just stick on improving, one day at a time. There's going to be a lot of occasions where there's two choices - a "right" choice and an "easy" choice. It reminds me of plastic bags. They recently started charging 5p for carrier bags here in the UK that used to be given away for free. As soon as people actually have to pay for it, there's much less abundance and more perceived value. As a result people are keeping their cartier bags and reusing them and looking after them. 80% less carrier bags are now used. Be a 5p carrier bag, don't be a free one

When I broke up with my oneitis I went to the other side of the world to work. There was a girl there, probably hb6 who I'd slept with before. She put me up for a couple of nights while I found somewhere to live and I fucked her for a couple of nights then moved out. I was still in love with my oneitis so didn't care about this girl at all. Within 3 months I was pissing on her face and she'd agreed to come travelling with me helping me find other girls to fuck while she waited under the bed or o…

This belongs in asktrp. I've been stuck where you are for a year now though bro and it's getting no easier, despite improving financially, meditating every day and hitting the gym 4 times a week. I've had two nights where I've had amazing luck with women but still pussied out on fucking them both times when the anxiety kicked in. I dunno mate, there's a lot of success stories here, it's not hopeless but that move from scarcity to abundance is tough

One night he pissed me off so I ignored his text the next day. Granted, he didn’t know he pissed me off so he didn’t know what I was punishing him for but that was enough for him to suck back all his exposed parts and rebuild his layers of walls. Push pull. I'd be interested to know what he did that pissed you off. But yeah, I'd stick my neck out and agree that a lot of stuff on here is gender neutral. I've been on both sides of the relationship dynamic without understanding why in the past. I t…

I left school at 16 and went into finance. In the UK you can do an apprenticeship that let's you become chartered without university. It took 7 years to get fully qualified, and I was working at a small firm for that time earning next to nothing (13 k a year + study support). I then moved over into finance systems as was always interested in computers. I'm 29 now and I've just set up my limited Co and start freelancing next week, I've managed to secure a £350 day rate on a six month contract. I …

The thing is mate, you're currently depressed so you're seeing all the suggestions as hopeless. They're not hopeless suggestions, you just think they are, because you're depressed. How do you stop being depressed? By following the suggestions. Even though you might think they're hopeless. Give it your all, and the depression will subside, then you'll see things as they really are. Best of luck bro

I asked him if this was an ultimatum - I hate ultimatums, they are tools of abusers. You mean like "Either don't say anything about me going to Amsterdam to fuck my ex or I'm going to call you an abuser?"

You gotta take control and not speak to her mate, imagine her as a giant succubus stealing all your life energy. I know that sounds ridiculous but it's not too far from the truth. I remember when it ended with my ex I had this mental image is myself as this like scarred ugly black helpless baby. It's cause I'd been trained to rely on her for validation and attention, and when she took it away and started telling me what a horrible person I was I believed her and my self worth hit rock bottom. Good days and bad days bro. I ended up isolating myself a lot cause I'd been convinced I was a horrible person. I cut myself off from a lot of my friends and started treating them badly but a lot have stuck by me regardless so I'm a lucky guy. I'm still depressed a lot of the time but it's nowhere near as severe as it was during the breakup, and it's probably cause I've been out of work for a while because of all these shenanigans. That's the bad bits. The good bits - I've just set up my own com…

I was in the exact same situation last year mate. Almost to the letter, and i remember being in the state you're in. From my experience it was a sophisticated emotional manipulation tool that she used to hang over me for the next 6 months or so, she threatened with police etc but now I realise she had no intention of ever actually going to them. Do NOT message her admitting to your "mistake" and if you have any previous messages between the two of you implying or strongly suggesting you've playe…

Something about this story has sent my bullshit detector absolutely crazy. "I'm not very good with technology" is something that every girl in my life has tried to make me believe. They still managed to have secret tinder accounts / sim cards / email accounts though. As soon as that card is played, be on guard.

I found that she literally had all the same life goals as me, similar interests, similar outlooks on life, and was the first non-materialistic girl I'd ever met. If she's really bpd then this is just what she wanted you to believe. What she really did was give you a reflection of yourself, and that's what you fell in love with.

Quality post, I do exactly the same thing. When my mates are stood at the bar chatting amongst themselves I'm dancing, getting on podiums, talking to every hot girl that gives me the eye in a 5m radius and generally being the life and soul of the party. Other guys that are doing the same will high 5 me, everyone in the action reacts positively, everyone stood on the sidelines is judging away. Enjoy your empty bed lads.

This is an amazing post, thanks. You've completely nailed it here, cheers.

Great post mate. Were you going out with my ex?! I'm my beta days I had "if you don't wanna be exclusive I don't wanna see you" "If you don't let me do another ibiza season I don't wanna see you" And repeat. Ad infinitum. I'm 100% certain mate. We'll be more goal orientated, and won't allow ourselves to take shit from women anymore. Your post seriously helped me out - I've been in and out of depression regularly over the past 5-6 years, had some great times and some really dark times. Reading what you wrote and putting it into context made me realise that 100% of the time I was down it was due to listening to women's bullshit views of me. The only way is up from here :)

I had a similar experience mate, was head over heels in love with a girl and did the MOST beta stuff towards her. Ended up with some serious gaslighting, her making me believe I was crazy and generally shitting all over my self esteem. I broke up with her 9 months ago and lost my job, self esteem and got into £12k of debt. I look back and genuinely feel lucky to be alive - there was more than one occasion I was stood on top of a building ready to throw myself off. We've been NC for four months a…

Mate your story epitomises the worst of women. Last night I was in the pub and a husband and wife and their young son were sat behind us. They were trying to order food when the woman got riled up about something that the kid had done. She turned into a monster to them both literally within about 10 seconds, then spent a good 20 minutes throwing a tantrum saying things like "I DON'T FEEL LIKE GETTING FOOD ANYMORE," "I'M NOT BUYING ANY FOOD AFTER THE WAY HE'S BEHAVED", etc etc. Eventually she cav…

Entertaining post mate. I had an experience with ayahuasca last year where I decided to try and find out why I was so jealous (read: needy) in relationships. I ended up meeting myself and giving myself a massive hug - it showed me that I just needed to love myself and treat myself with respect. I'm still not there yet, but I think there's a lot to be learned from hallucinogens / entheogens

This! My favourite was "you don't like me just cause i fucked a few guys behind your back when we fell out. You were acting like a right royal cunt anyway, you deserved it" Two minutes later "I hope to god you know i was lying on that last message but now you'll doubt it and suffer. You deserve that." The first message was true, obviously, but she even managed to turn it around into dread game with plausible deniability. Ltr on nightmare mode, NEVER stick your dick in crazy
