I think it's less about the difficulty of the subject matter of STEM and more about the challenges balancing a career and family. How do I, a female construction engineer, manage pregnancy and working 70 hours a week in the field? Something has to give and eventually that will be my career so I can focus on different but not lesser priorities. I feel that is the question many women of my generation face.
