Long distance rarely works. You have to close the distance gap quickly. If she's purposely trying to make you jealous she's testing your frame. I wouldn't put up with that.

Why waste any energy on trying to understand why?

This reads more like the fiction writings of a beta

What even is this. Just go to meetups elsewhere

EDIT after your edit (lol): okay, gotcha. So if it was just a test would be more easy like "no, I'm not sure"? It's hard to explain what a shit test is or how to spot it but usually you overcome that on the spot. If you want to proceed with meeting up with her you can try to probe further but I would just be cautiously optimistic

It's not game honestly. She's 40 years old with kids. At that age there typically aren't shit tests, if she wants your dick she'll make it very clear, and that type of beat around the bush response isn't anything I'd try to move forward with. The flip side of this is you could just be straight forward with your intentions, if she says no again then you close that door and move on

Dude, she's a coworker/colleague don't shit where you eat Edit: also, her response was way too long to be a casual giggly shit test type of "no". She was definitely framing it in a way where I don't see it as a shit test, you shouldn't even be thinking getting laid is an option with this female

That's cool, I've had female friends who thought they were mind readers too

Meeting for coffee is typically not a date. It's an easy way for a girl to be friendly without any type of commitment

What do you mean by you became beta? Sex declined etc etc? Am I misunderstanding a relationship, I mean if she doesn't want sex that's her decision. Should I be expecting my SO to spread her legs whenever I want it? I guess I'm conflicted, this question stems from my own relationship

Ah, forgot it was a volunteer effort. As a part of the folding network are they providing progress/milestones achieved, or is that all public?

Is folding@home even profitable nowadays? I mean, sure it's better than your hardware just sitting there.

How is this cuckoldry lol. Are all of your plates exclusive to you? I highly doubt it

Yo, is the site code / design / archival scripting on GitHub? I'd like to see if I can contribute in some way with that.

I agree with points in this post. I don't agree with the dramatic response to her fucking another dude after knowing (if tinder chatting is even "knowing") her a few days. The whole point of TRP is to not allow that type of BS to affect you, but you were otherwise you would have left the chat in place and seen her when you had time. Her telling you she fucked another guy was a shit test and you failed it. Her coming to you on FB shows she's desperate, she was probably lying. You knew exactly wha…

Isn't it kind of his bad for committing to the LTR then. Cheaters going to cheat for sure, but for those with a moral code it'd have to be an open relationship at the start.

This right here reminded me of a conversation I had with a friend. The catalyst that got me to change was this: Friend: "Man you've been making great progress, you can really see the changes, what made you become so disciplined?" Me: "Thanks, and honestly it's kind of morbid but puts things into perspective. I woke up one morning and thought to myself "if I were to die right now, would I be happy with what I left behind" and the answer was no, and I've not looked back." Laying out the minutes, h…

Hahahaha read the first three paragraphs and had to comment. Are you a writer or just witty af? This is absolutely brilliant. Saved for later!

This post is so fitting given that recent vasectomy post. Good on you man for sticking to your guns.

Makes sense. It can be reversed albeit painfully. There are so many females out their willing to lie about being on the pill or having an IUD just to get pregnant and lock you in.

You really don't know unless you act on it tbh, or if she acts on it. Otherwise it's just a missed opportunity

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
