One time a girl in high school sexually harassed me while she was drunk despite my repeatedly saying no and more then once she said "I have needs" and that I "had to take care of them." That's the only time I've ever heard someone use something like that outside of a movie or show.

Most forms of statistics can be skewed; basically the only ones you can trust are stuff like "this is how much (x) was recorded in (y) year" The "was recorded" is the important part. You can't posit that every instance was recorded, all you can really say is "this is all of what we know". Early feminism did a ton of amazing things, including women's suffrage that allowed women to vote and was a massive stepping stone to a better democracy. And yeah women's suffrage helped both sexes, it's important to not forget that.

Yes, both parties need to be prepared for the consequences. Sex leads to children, that's the inherent fact of reality. And it's common knowledge at this point that birth control methods are not 100% effective. So both parties should be responsible adults and understand that they are taking a risk when they have sex.
