Sucks to be that guy, but it's going to be a self fulfilling prophecy since he doesn't know how to deal with it. He's showing jealousy because of insecurity, they are going to end up arguing about this (since he doesn't want it and she does), she's going to then use that argument as a justification for the actions she's already mentally planned out so that way she doesn't have to feel guilty, he drove her away right.

Yeah, sure, but there's also a likely chance to get punched in the face or back of the head while standing up by someone rushing you from the side or behind you if they are in a group aswell. It's not really a problem with BJJ, it's a problem of having too many variables to account for.

These techniques could potentially save lives when performed correctly, allowing a person to minimize the harm coming to them and enabling them to escape or get into a domin…

Judo schools will teach you submissions but they won't be anywhere near as honed as what you'd develop at a BJJ school. Ideally you should cross train in both as the Newaza (ground fighting) in Judo is a joke at most places and the same can be said of BJJ stand up teaching.

If you're in a choke hold you're in a inferior position to begin with. If you start going for the balls or eyes, the person in the dominant position can also do so to more of an effect than your own actions because they will be ontop and have leverage.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
