Ok theres a couple of things here. Firstly, this article if from ABC news. They are not your typical tabloid trash and scare media that you have in America. I once had about 15 medical students crowded around my bed looking at my balls. They were very swollen and apparently it was a special case. It was a bit uncomfortable, but i let them in the name of education. I would have been much more comfortable if it was just the one [male] doctor. Perhaps we could use this thread to collect a bunch of useful statistics to counter the typical drivel. Some of the ones you used in your letter make a good start e.g half of DV is reciprocal, when its not recprical, women are the perpetrators 70% of the time and 1.5% of men compared to 1.1% of women needed treatment for their injuries. Is there a good collection of "wage gap" statistics somewhere?
