so what are the primary success factors in your opinion?

"My challenge is.." buddy that should be rather in plural form. Also, wouldn't say the post name matches the content - it seems to be so much more. is a very anxious person - so it was always like that and you were ok with that, or it changed, then why? if you had some kind of (moral) realisation your real challenge is to make her have one too. In all other cases lack of boundaries and shared vision seems to be part of the problem.

ok but the OCEAN is more about how one would fit say in a team, rather than what to chose as the main activity... in the same field you could be either working in a team or more of an individual contributor. So isn't this more about how you organize the work?

this is networking related, right? wouldn't that be past the hype sort of. or the coming industry 4.0 shift is propping this?

your comment seems to be in the right direction, although the affection does not have to be only female and/or only from plates etc....

see if you can connect with some southern cultures, ie south american. They are good at expressing affection at all levels of relationship (ie including friends) and does not have to be opposite sex. I can relate to some of the things described above and one thing helps is to seek various sources of this affection. Certainly right now this girl and you are on different level of "needing" the affection. If you show this stuff up to her or focus too much on her - she will get pushed away. However,…

look man, from my experience you've got to move around. Your first step to move away could be to go away to work for a week or two or do some networking in the area. You could also do some market research or just apply to jobs in the desired area and see where it gets you and what info you can gather. Then do a temp in couple of different towns / states and see what you prefer. Consider abroad as well, at least for research purposes. On the other hand sometimes to change your state you need a br…

i might have had to deal with this too, sometimes. I mean before I learnt reading social clues (utmost importance, but not so easy to get for some people) I had to physically stop my mouth opening, after setting limit to X sentences. And really, the less sentences in one go - the better. You don't want to be doing monologues, right? There is a saying - purpose of the communication is the feedback (response) you get. So if you are not reading / getting feedback you are talking to yourself. But re…

sounds like you are clinging too much on your delusional vision of "what it could have been" to keep up your victim mentality. People who got all those things you are talking about were also complaining that they didn't have a better car or a better girlfriend or that they could have been cruising in LA instead of some other shitty state or they could have been rockstars like that one guy. It's our developmental / evolutionary mentality that reminds us we need to strive for better, want more and…

this is an interesting theory that sometimes may be true... But to say something like ever / never in this case is a bit of an overstatement imo

i learned very similar way you guys did here - found it on internet when i was looking how to keep up conversations with females. They themselves naturally use this technique, i often spot it. When at ease, they just say whatever comes to their mind and it's usually similar thread of associations

really? what exactly? i hope you understand that the examples brought are very simple, but once mastered you can take it on a different level.

one simple technique i find useful especially in making less meaningful, but longer conversations is to start new sentence with the same word / expression of the last sentence. For example: a: The other day we went for walk b: I find walking very energising a: I love my car. Cars are very Useful. Useful is something that i find important. Important things are hard to come by. Coming here was a little difficult. Difficult circumstances surround this place. Place like this is....., You get the ide…

yeah. Even in US i think it varies in states. Some have 'stand your ground', when you can even shoot someone if you feel threatened, some places don't

As someone who met many of those and has many friends from there, i would like to back up. Extremely calculating doesn't cut it, because generally speaking they're quite intelligent, have high standards of life in mind (remember - they are close to Germany and other very developed countries) and quite restless. Polish people in general can be irrational and crazy too. Don't get me wrong, this is exactly why i love that place, i have seen some really good nights out there, but i would stay away f…
