So how do you balance not owning her, or not paying her attention vs not missing that opportunity to do something? Obviously she's going to move on at some point right? Do you wait for her to basically beg first or is there a period where you can move in? This just sounds like playing more of her silly games

So what about the stuff/time you spent on them? I do understand your point but I guess unless one is really good at it, the whole dating/courting phase can be taxing for us less experienced

So if I was seeing a woman and sharing personal stories or info with her, but then started to tell personal stories to another woman, this is like sexually cheating to them? I mean it hurts them as much. Not just I'm talking to another woman, but the fact I'm sharing personal experiences etc

Yeah I ignored her today and she seemed pretty upset or concerned as to why I'd shut down. I didn't give her a reason. It did feel pretty childish to do so, to be honest. But can you explain what you mean by she's the enemy

Thanks I've only seen the last 2. What else do you recommend?

This is so complicated. Thank you for the explanations though. I'll have to reread, practice, and adjust my strategy. I feel like my upbringing has trained me to accept being friendzoned (a pet or pillow to absorb emotions when convient for her) but nothing in return. Even if in the "friends zone" half the time I'm barely respected as a person not to mention a friend so I'll have to undo all this mentality that I've grown to know.

Ok this may seem immature, so do I deny them that kind of personality unless I am in a relationship with them? Just be the opposite of a gentleman if I want a relationship with sex and not be a cuck? For a true relationship with sex, I guess a beta is just the default form of what a woman wants in a man, but in their personal persuit to be attractive, the man has to be more of a blatant bad guy asshole?

Haha looks like I'm on my way at this rate.

Now you see how it feels to be a minority. Just the other day I was chatting with this woman. She was incredible and easy to get along with but her friend pulled me to the side while she was distracted and told me her parents were super racist, complete with stories. So I wouldn't get too attached. It was devastating. I imagine what you're reading is just the same conversation but (now public) including white uneducated men. Not that it's right, but yea

Just curious if this is something that occurs with older women in general. None of the younger women I'm seeing do this but you're right, fuck it. I don't think it's me tho

Well I'd make sure she's actually a woman first, and looks like how she does in her photo/description, but that's just me.

I already gave her my excuse but she didn't respond to it. We've communicated slightly since but I supposed it's time to just forget.

This subreddit is clearly slanted. I came here for a problem I was having ,and yes at a young age, however, the more I read the more it matches up. Sure most of the solutions offered don't match my character but it's interesting how often the same situations play out. As someone that's been through a few of theses situations, and even OP's situation, it's much better here than /r/relationshipadvice. For the most part they'll just tell you to move on but on here they're advice on how to improve y…

But tbh I feel a stronger connection with her than with most girls. dude it's happening. I've been/currently in this situation. Slowly, you'll start to fall for her because she is going to treat you differently than the 20 year old girls. She's older and she will think it's normal but to you it is going to be very different and welcoming (again, it's not the intention). With the older women, it's all about investing time. You'll invest a lot of your time in her, because you think you have this c…

What I notice is that although the guys drool over them, the women themselves never actually go for them. It's more the attention that they desire not the guy.

From my experience, highly insecure. More so than average. It's like never growing out of that middle school phase especially after college. Makes them very private. Usually very caring and nurturing, but I think an actual romantic relationship would be hard to achieve. In my experience it's everything discussed in this subreddit but highly elevated, only it's not necessarily intentional.

Am I the only guy too paranoid to do this "rape" or choke bs?
/r/askTRP02/11/16 07:51 PM

I'm not expert, at all, but I'd be curious why this suddenly came about. If she ended it, why go back? Maybe I'm paranoid but my next question would be if she ever really did "end it" (the sex) to begin with.

This confuses me also. I always think: Either I need to step up and be more aggressive at this, be "manly" and take control if I want it to go anywhere... or she's just being a bitch and I'm wasting my time with her because o matter what, it will go no where.

but isn't this what society looks down on men for doing?

Is this because at 30 they just give up more so than low drive or what? Does it make it harder, because they're more content with this style of life (from now on?) ..or is it easier because they're finally noticed by a decent guy?

Well not in my experience. You can't just walk up to people in Europe and shoot the shit. I've made some long friends in the US just by doing that. Also in USA for sex, unless you're good looking or plan to buy her things all night, you're likely not getting sex. You'll have to purchase it one way or another. In Europe it's not like that at all, it's not a "game". In certain countries anyway.

Yes I have. It does depend on the country though, or more accurately northern or Southern Europe.

I think sex is easier in Europe whereas friendships are easier in the USA.

I have two sisters. Sometimes it's not this complex, sometimes they're just caught up playing the Sims or with their female friends. I also have a few wingwomen and it's just astonishing how quickly they seem to forget about that guy they're with. Perhaps it's due to arrogance that they think he'all still be there but as a guy it's not always something you're doing wrong or another guy. Just so you don't stress out or over think.

See, this is the thing. Is it "less masculine" to want a woman not afraid to initiate first? Not that I don't want to, but why is it always a guy that has to "risk" putting himself out there, especially in this PC modern society where it's rape/groping/or who knows what. Maybe I'm just paranoid or lazy but I'm always skeptical about women these days. I think if you're both wanting sex it shouldn't be a problem for either to initiate, in fact if only men are expected to initiate i find it even mo…

but she's just pulling your leash. And as soon as you turn around and take a step back, she will tell you 'we're just friends'.

Ok. Well it isn't about your look. It's about your attitude and approach. I'm not an expert but what I do is make at least one or two female friends, yes the friend zone. This will help you tremendously become instantly sought after because women love to compete. Even if you don't find them attractive, other women will think you do, and compete. I'd recommend frequenting the library, art events in your community, maybe take little steps in leaning a language.. just get yourself 1-2 female friend…

Are you in school/college? You need to do something in the arts where they're mostly women instead of the sausage party that is computer science.

Stupid question but should you be this nervous on a date? Maybe I have been influenced by too many female friends but shouldn't you kinda feel like you know each other by the time you actually go out on a date?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
