I knew a kid in high school who’s mother was a pornstar. Everybody knew. He suicided during college. When I brought up this tragedy talking about the negatives of porn, someone had the nerve to say my friend was “weak-minded” so I replied, “who do you think he got that weak-mindedness from?” They went ballistic but had nothing of value to say. That was one of the biggest redpill moments of my life. Not only did they shame a kid for suicide, they defend his careless mother despite that fact that …

Hey man whatever works for you works for you. I’ve actually done it myself and most therapists I’ve spoken with didn’t help me at all, but I did have a good experience with one. So Im not just talking out of my ass, I think it can be beneficial but nothings greater than having strong bonds with family and friends. Sadly, not many people are fortunate to have such bonds, and I think American society is being designed to further subvert those bonds to make us rely on the things I stated above. I k…

I think the rise of mental illness stems from many things, especially the normalcy of single motherhood. People raised by single moms are more likely to be mentally ill. I also think that people are pushing for the normalcy of therapy because that’s just another thing they can have over you. How sad it must be to not have anyone to talk to, no family, or close friends.. the gov. incentivizes single motherhood and divorce because those kids grow up to feed the for-profit prison industry, and the …

we live in such a gynocentric society they don’t know how good they’ve got it. You can show them all the stats you want and it won’t make any difference. Point them in the direction of all the trans men that regret transitioning because they’re no longer treated like humans. These stories are easy to find, they’re plentiful. If those stories dont convince them, nothing will.

Likewise. I’m so happy you’ve been blessed with great friends too. I wish I didn’t understand suicide. It breaks my heart that several of my friends took their lives. I’m happy you’re still here man

Thanks dude. It sounds so obvious but we all need these reminders every now and then. Gotta be more proactive about my mental health and spread more time outdoors.

I’m so envious of you and older generations. I wish I had that much life without this bullshit. I was the last person in my friend group to get a cellphone and I was 16. It was cool at the time because the novelty of it and not having to use the house phone... but man this way of living is annoying/ depressing as you said. I’ve gotten off social media but it still affects me because all of my peers are on it

yeah if I’m talking to someone at work about something not work-related I’m talking about hobbies, food, sports. Never get involved with anything related to politics. I kinda miss my male dominant, blue collar job because I could talk about anything with the fellas. Miss those days, but my back is better for it

just sleeping with someone is waaayyy different than having long-term goals of starting a family. I don’t understand how you could want kids with someone and not be curious about how they’d look.

Not every lesson has to be learned the hard way my dude. Not everyone goes through a simp phase. Just takes one bad story to turn some people off to that shit. I put all my young family into Patrice O’Neal. You see someone goin through shit you go another direction

Doesn’t Roman Polanski live there too? Damn man. French culture has always fascinated me, I used to want to live there when I was a kid. Now I don’t even know if I could stomach a visit. I don’t think I’d get Paris Syndrome, but I’m afraid I’ll just be disappointed.

Yeah that’s definitely a thing. It also led to the Nazis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institut_f%C3%BCr_Sexualwissenschaft One extreme led to another. I wonder why they don’t teach about what led to nazi Germany.

I used to believe every generation has had its own old men yelling at clouds about how the youth is terrible and the world is getting worse... which has definitely always been a thing, but now we have data to prove it lol. And the Internet has brought on a plague of debauchery. We truly live in decadent times. A dude paid a girl for her fucking bath water on the Internet. Never even met the girl. These are unprecedented levels of simpdom. Sad shit

Counterpoint: Jimi Hendrix with a guitar. John Bonham on the drums. Yeah the enjoyment of art is subjective, but there’s some objective measurements within music. Even if it’s not for you, to deny the skill, innovation, technical ability of particular artists as higher than others is silly, too. Rap is much more difficult to measure though, imo, because lyrics and subject matter is absolutely a matter of taste.

That doesn’t make it any less fascinating to me. In fact, that’s what I thought when I saw it, but I’ve never cared whether or not something like this is fake online. I know plenty of things online are fabricated. But life is absolutely stranger than fiction. And sometimes fiction inspires life. This has inspired me.

Yeah exactly. I don’t think he necessarily meant “saying no to females” as saying completely exclude them from your life. That’s asinine. I enjoy speaking with plenty of women and in fact I talk with more of female friends on a regular basis than my male friends. People just need to stop catering to them. The sense of entitlement I’ve heard from some women in particular is astounding, but the worst part is there is always some sad sack that’ll entertain it. That’s where saying no comes in.
