It's a paid "internship," more like a junior position. There are very few men in the full positions either. I've only seen one. But the director is a man. It seems pretty clear to me that in this instance the people in charge of hiring are biased towards hiring women, either because they truly think it's a good thing, or because they think it looks good for PR in today's climate; maybe they even realize that women will work for less money.

Actually I think PLAN international is exclusively about fostering young girls, and they don't lie about it. They came to my door asking for money and said, "I'm sure you can agree that women and girls have it worse all over the world." Hopefully men do care about their rights and do something about it. I have a cynical concern, however, that men’s rights won’t make much headway because no one respects a man who complains. If a man complains he is a cry baby. Or, alternatively, he is an aggressive bully if he stands up for himself. I think men will see this reaction and either shut up and tow the line, or will become incredibly aggressive and gross in their resentment, only further pushing the feminist/liberal narrative.

Well that's not really what I was refering to, but that's a good point. God, the worst one is: "If a woman is really drunk, she cannot consent to you and she also cannot consent to your buddy who seems to be trying something. Your buddy is your responsibility, so say something and intervene." Yes, it bothers me that they want to force this to just be a women's issue. If you complain, they say the majority of victims are women, but they don't realize that their attitudes are why many men don't want to come forward. I am astounded at the bravery of Terry Crews and James Van Der Beek. Even news articles about Jimmy Saville keep saying "women and children" were abused, and seem to not want to explicitly mention the little boys.

Not sure about the U.S. but based on the Canadian court system I would say you were wrong. In Canada sexual assault cases are not necessarily held in front of a jury. Often it's merely up to a judge, and not particularly biased (a couple examples would be the judge from the Jian Ghomeshi case and the judge from the infamous "why didn't you keep your knees together" case).
