if male-on-female violence were a sign of structural power, then you would expect society to generally condone it, like society generally condones police violence Mind blown. female on male violence fits more in line with marxist philosophy where women are the oppressors and get others to wage violence against men at their will.

Just want to say I understand the situation. I have a close friend (single mom) with three teenage kids. She was married to the father and he had several relapses with drugs and spent time in jail. She tried everything she could and encouraged and gave him as much access to the children as possible. He died last year from a drug overdose. I am heartbroken for those children. Try to find him good male role models.

It was actually a woman who introduced me to the concept of mens rights. (/u/typhonblue) I never even knew she was a woman for the longest time, but she was wickedly intelligent and interesting. I was rather surprised when I eventually learned she was a woman.

In fairness, The Star is a leftist rag and Salutin is perhaps one of the most extreme. He doesn't get much support other than from the communists at rabble.ca

They've just got so many misandrist columnists at the Globe and Mail that the backlash is pretty well developed. We can usually expect 2-3 manhating columns per week.

an important film for MRAs to watch because the protagonist is a contemporary male who is frustrated with the status quo for average men. The protagonist eventually ends up being a terrorist, Good movie but holy fuck...Obvious TROLL is Obvious.

I think you have it backwards, somebody else created the meme and no one here is popularizing it. Meanwhile any meme that paints feminists in a negative light influences moderate feminists to distance themselves from the extremes and even reconsider calling themselves feminists.
/r/MensRights22/10/12 04:12 AM

Just like most memes, but the whole point is that meme generation is a testing platform to determine what penetrates the public consciousness and becomes popular.

I'm okay with it, it's just words and the same sort of politics that feminists are using to vilify mra. How about one with Andrea Dworken and label it "scumbag feminist" Want's Equality All men are evil pigs!

That's just it though. There is no consensus of male requirement and there are no benefits to serving others before myself. It's all in your head and I understand because I was raised that way too. Eventually, I came to my senses and realized it was all a lie.

The only problem with that system is it requires a man to voluntarily strap a yoke to his neck and commit himself to the service of others over himself. This is a good system for others, but not for most men. I grew up in Canada, small town north of nowhere.

Canadian eh? "Honour" would be akin to male responsibility, male sacrifice, male suffering, male disposability and male utility. I sure am privileged.

That's blaming the victim. Don't blame her for not looking both ways, teach drivers not to hit pedestrians.

No, you're a bitch because OP was abundantly clear about high conflict marriages. Edit: So this discussion has nothing to do with being abused, don't make it personal princess.

while she did her best to manage thirteen children, a farm, and a job in the school cafeteria Wow, she's like superhuman because many women these days have difficulty with managing one kid, a 9-5 job and an apartment on their own.

She's not interested in lifelong commitment and there is nothing wrong with that. Some people just aren't interested in marriage. She can still go to work and make money and occaisionally some man will take an interest in her, even if not seriously.

Does that mean Victoria also has the easiest women?
/r/MensRights16/10/12 02:20 AM

Awesome, it's everything we've always wanted from women. Lots and lots of no strings attached free sex. I still think feminism is a patriarchal conspiracy to give men free sex.
