Even so, using that argument will only make it seem like you intentionally and knowingly pursued a teenager - which will not help you any. Keep it to "I didn't know her age when I approached her, and she walked away after I introduced myself. I took it that meant she was not interested, so I went about my business. As a fat guy, I can verify that these statements are 100% inaccurate when it comes to fat guys. Skinny isn't ideal, but it isn't bad. Fat is bad. Girls see a fat guy and don't bother talking to him. Fat is gross. Skinny might not be great, but it isn't gross like fat is.

Talk about the same kind of things you talk to guys about. Common interests, upcoming plans, etc. Try to keep it to upbeat, positive stuff - fun activities, interesting books, etc. Avoid talking too much about things that can be downers, such as stress at work.

YES! I am one of those guys that is terrible at being able to recognize if a girl is in to me. You know how some guys think that when a girl is smiling and being polite, she is flirting? I'm the opposite - she may be flirting, bit I think she is just being polite or friendly. If you are in to me, come up and ask me out!
