This is what oppression looks like: the face of reasonability. It sounds almost logical, doesn't it? Then one thinks, "oh, wait, that's mysogynistic crap." I don't even give a crap whether people are inherently equal or not. Let's just stop trying to stack the deck by claiming anyone is superior at anything on account of sex, eh? Btw, I liked twilight at first, too. And I'm a dude. It is shit, yeah, but it's not just women who read it.

I'm going to echo what the others are saying, here. Call the police. Better yet, hole yourself in your room first with your child and the evidence with the door locked and a bookcase over it, then call the police. (I'm assuming she doesn't have access to guns or know how to pick a lock, but if those are incorrect assumptions, my plan is not the way to go.) Seriously, no excuses. Make your life better. Get her arrested.
