For things like bridesmaids dresses or wedding gowns there is scale pricing over a certain size where it costs more but that seems fair in that situation....HOWEVER they do size weirdly to get more money I think. Like 20 years ago I was a size 8 and got fitted as a 16 for a bridesmaids dress, and 16+ cost more. THAT really made me mad.

Interesting. How long have you and your spouse/partner been together? If they started doing something that you didn't like would you leave them immediately or try to work it out? Do you have children with them, or would that make a difference?

I've read numerous threads here of people who say their spouse plays after work until they go to bed, and all weekend. Eating alone in their room. So I can't give you a number of hours. I suppose excessive is relative. For some people maybe an hour is excessive. I also think I've hit a nerve here. Play all the video games you want and if your spouse doesn't like it DUMP THEM.

Hmm I've never looked at it that way and maybe you are right! I guess I feel like ultimatums are fine if you mean it. If you want to break up if he won't stop playing video games, it's fair to tell him that. And he can say no and you can break up with him. Maybe for her it's about video games and for him it's about ultimatums. Either way they aren't compatible. And yeah if he always played games so much, she is changing the rules up.

I guess I've seen a lot of examples of people playing video games every moment they are home, doing nothing else essentially, so to me that's not trivial. Like having a glass of wine a night vs being a raging alcoholic.

Grabbing to go cups and no one seems to care is so different from asking a host for water and being given a cup. What do you mean by speaking candidly? You can see those are totally different right? I’m not being picky, that’s totally different. You said you grab 2-4 cups and “no one seems to care”. Why would I assume you mean you asked for a cup of water?? How is this on me?

Ok your original comment said every “store” will give out water. Now I get that you mean as a young girl you’d ask a restaurant for water and they’d give it to you. You see how that’s different r right? Side note every bike I ever had had a spot to hold a water bottle. And I never had a nice bike.

Came here to say this. Also basically all rich and powerful people. Kate Winslet has 3 kids by 3 men but she’s rich so it’s ok. I’m guilty of agreeing too. Seems trashy to have a lot of baby daddies but if you’re rich it’s just a different life choice.
